This was very pleasant. The owners were gracious. If you have to be in this part of the world this is a nice option. The breakfast was good and owners were amenable to different breakfast requests. The room interiors were quirky and overly decorated but that was also part of the fun. Beautiful old house but the rest of the... More

We could have had a nicer introduction to Shelbyville, Bell Buckle and a B&B experience. My husband and I have always been leery of B&B's as we are private people and are used to 5 star hotels ... Well, Lane Street Inn, with our hosts, Emily and Eben, could not have been a finer experience. Beautiful home, beautifully restored....wine at... More

Don't hesitate to stay here. We were fortunate to stumble across this beautiful house whilst driving through Shelbyville on a Southern tour. You will not find a more charming property, or such accommodating hosts as Emily and Eben. We stayed in the Sierra room/suite, which had a Western theme, nothing tacy, wonderfully executed. All of the guest rooms have different... More

Recently my friends and I reserved The Rat Pack suite for a weekend night, as we had a bit of a business trip in the area. We could not have asked for a better experience. Absolute relaxation and comfort! We settled in and made ourselves at home...and I think we would have each taken our beds home with us if... More

Although my sister grew up in TN, she has since lived in WI for several decades, but when she came to visit me in my retirement home of Nashville this past year, she asked that part of our vacation together be involved with a " Memories Tour. " We were both familiar with the Shelbyville area from having attended the... More

My wife and I, together with her sister and brother in law stayed at the Lane street inn on 1st. October and I must say, it was just like going to stay with a favourite relative. Eben and Emily Bryant made us so welcome it was difficult to believe that they were running a hotel for business! They gave us... More

This is one of the most beautiful B&B I have ever stayed in! With everything you would need starting at the front door all the way to the bathrooms, this place has it all. Emily and Eben are amazing and love the history of the city they live in and around. They know all the good places to eat, all... More

On arriving at Lane Street Inn, host Eben warmly welcomed us and carried our bags inside. He gave us a tour of the lovingly-restored mansion. Our room was the Frank Sinatra room, with retro, 1950s-inspired decor. The room was clean and included a flat screen television, wi-fi, etc. The well-stocked bathroom had every toiletry a traveller might need or might... More

We stayed at the Lane Street Inn over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. They have thought of everything that a guest would need or want. We stayed in the Serenity Room which had just been updated with a new modern bathroom with all the conveniences of home. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The... More

I resently hosted my daughtor's wedding in Shelbyville. Several of my out of town guest stayed at Lane Street Inn. They absolutely loved it! They are still telling me about the beautiful house and yard. They enjoyed the comfortable beds and being able to choose thier breakfast time and the breakfast. Mostly though, they enjoyed the friendliless and hospitality of... More
