I'll start by saying neither my husband nor I can ride a horse...we were on a driving tour of the Deep South and were travelling through Tennessee. We'd read about the famous Tennessee walking horses so we thought we'd try a night on a horse farm..as you do! Our afternoon on the farm and nights stay in the Quarterhorse room... More

The folks here was absolutely wonderful! I came here with my daughter and grand daughter (9) for a 'get away' from it all and so my grand daughter could go horseback riding. From the very first contact to the very sad (for us) last day. Everyone was friendly, laid back and beyond helpful, Marie (owner) and Hope who phoned me... More

We stayed at this horse farm for 4 nights in the Quarterhorse Room. The people were very laid back, very accomodating & friendly. We rode for an hour with one of the employees, Jesse, who was very informative and helpful and fun to talk to. The farm is very beautiful and seems to be well cared for. I can't say... More

My four daughters and I came to your lovely farm on Memorial Day this week. We called and talked to Jesse on the phone and he set us up to come ride. We arrived there and I just wanted to share a few things with you. The first thing was the friendliness of Jesse. We so appreciated his attentiveness, his... More

Owner of the business was very polite and extremely professional Marie couldn't do enough for us!! We had a fantastic stay the lodgings were clean and exactly what we were looking for, the farm itself is out of this world, plenty to do on the ranch, great pony rides for the children. Thank you very much for letting us stay... More

Called last week and no one answers the business phone. So I called the cell phone to request a reservation for next weekend.. Well, Marie the owner said she would call me back. Waited several days and she doesn't call me back. I called today and she abruptly gave her cell phone to her employee because she didn't know what... More

I am sorry you feel you had to leave a review like that when you didn't even get to visit. So Hope lost your number, and had other things on her mind that day as her son was rushed to hospital just 15 mins after you called, he got hit by a car in the carpark where we were all... More

We arrived on a very cold and windy night. But Maria zoomed up, in her four wheeler, with several dogs to greet us and get us to our home for the night. My friend, who is 84 tends to be very cold natured and was unhappy at first because there was not central heat, but once Maria brought in very... More

The saying goes "time flies when you are having fun", well I thought I had only blinked before our week long stay at the farm was over. Marie was so warm and friendly and was very accommodating with my request to have a variety of lessons, trail rides and experiences. She made sure we had the perfect horsey getaway. Marie... More

What can I say about this place other than go and stay there! From the minute we stepped into the office to the moment we drove off we experienced the most amazing hospitality! We did a road trip from New York to Memphis for our honeymoon and this was easily the best place we stayed. It was great value, the... More

This place should be called a bed and barn instead of a bed and breakfast. We called to reserve the quarter horse room and after being told it was available we were later told it wasnt and they had the pony room available instead. You would think if someone was trying to reserve a room and it wasnt available you... More

The Pony room is vary rarely offered to guests, as it is more of a bunk house in the barn. However this lady was quite desparate to find somewhere to stay in Shelbyville during the busiest period of the season, when Shelbyville plays host to the Tennessee National Walking Horse Show, commonly known as the Celebration.I did my best to...
