I've been staying at the Wayoma for the past 25 years. If I can get a room that is. They book up fast. In expensive and very clean. Not a modern hotel. Just a quaint, nostalgic place run by some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. 10 min to downtown Knoxville and 20 min to Sevierville makes this a... More

My Son's family and I stayed 4 days and were very well treated. We plan to return again next year. The location is an easy drive from the Smokies - either thru Townsend or to Sevierville but yet away from all the noise in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

We stayed at the Way-Oma this past weekend, and everything was PERFECT! We liked the large suite, the provisions, and what there was to offer, as well as the friendliness of Ernest Ford. When we checked out, he kidded with us about the cost, which is so amazingly low, for the cleanliness and what you get! We will definitely stay... More

My family and I traveled to Pigeon Forge from 1998-2005. Every single time we traveled, we stayed at Wayoma, with one year as the exception. There would be my parents, and me and a friend. Their 2 bed set up was perfect! There was a room with it's own door into the kitchenette and second bed area, so plenty of... More

We got there at 9:30pm were greeted with a friendly smile and conversation. Our room had a kitchenette with table, stove, fridge, microwave, cooking utensils, plates, cups, glasses, bowls, silverware, even pot holders were provided. Rooms were fairly clean. We made potatos for mashed potatos and realized that we had nothing to mash them with so my Grandson and I... More

Ernest Ford, the owner, and his fiancee were wonderful. We stayed five nights in one of the apartment style suites. It came complete with a full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, a few dishes, and a small kitchen table. The bathroom was stocked with ample toilet paper, bath towels, and hand soap. We never ran out of hot water... More

The folks at the Way-Oma have always been wonderful and accommodating to us. We bring our show dogs, clean up carefully after our animals, and look forward to coming back after each stay. Yes, it is quirky, but that's part of the fun. Our rooms have been clean, we've appreciated the in room fridge and microwave, and the conversation with... More

Hmmm...Where to start...This motel is unique in the way the rooms are. They are 'kind of' clean but very-very small. If you must stay here at least they are very inexpensive. No smoke detectors in the rooms. No breakfast. No extras at all. The rooms were fairly clean and I did feel safe here but I would stay somewhere else... More
