I am quite surprised by the last 2 reviews. I have hiked and stayed on Mt. LeConte numerous times (at least once a year for the last several years) - last in June of 09. We're terribly sorry when anyone has a negative experience at the lodge. It seems the lodge management was quite in the dark about the unpleasant mis-match between this guest and his/her table mates. We have an enforced "quiet time" at 10:00 each evening, and if asked by guests, we do sometimes have to ask a boisterous party to be considerate...
The positive things about LeConte Lodge: 1. The beautiful hike in (it took 3 1/2 hours to hike up via Alum Cave trail which is a well maintained trail) 2.
