This has been the first trip to Tenn. where I didn't find helpful/smiling workers. Was greeted unfriendly by staff and even told them it was our first time at the resort. She provided no details about the park or any suggestions. After check in, we absolutely had a blast at the waterpark. I just wished the staff was a little... More

We recently stayed for 4 nights in one of the villas. It's on the golf course, about 1 mile from the resort, and it's really great. Before I go on let me be clear this resort is not a 5 star in the Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton sense. It's 5 star in terms of being the ultimate kid's and... More

Only booked one night because you can actually have 2 days of play with just one nights stay. When I booked I ask for a room close to front because it was just me and 3 of my grand children. When I checked in they had it noted that I had ask for a room close to the front and... More

Great staff, plenty of parking, even a local shuttle service. The family and I really enjoyed the indoor water park and rides. The rooms were nice and spacious, and plenty for the whole family to see and do. Thank you Wilderness at the smokies Resort Family, I plan on coming back again real soon . V/r SFC Damon Stewart

We stayed at The Wilderness last summer and had a blast! There's not much I can say that's bad about this place, it's wonderful! We stayed 3 days there and never left the resort. They have everything there. There are lots of water slides and pools, plus an arcade, golf, and many many other activities. The shuttle was great, we... More

We spent 4 days with 3grand kids, 13, 11 and 10. Kids pretty much did their own thing. We got them the "stay pass" and we found this to be the best value! I will agree that it is slightly pricey and the room was a bit small but overall, would go back! We had the bunk room. Staff very... More

First at the Wilderness. We were 6 in one room. Room was clean with nice deco but a little bit tight for 6. Pools and pools areas was clean and well kept. I was lucky because staff was nice (I read some other reviews with bad experiences with staffs). Very impressed with the lifeguards, there were in top of safety!!!... More

We checked in on a Monday and out on a Wednesday. The water park itself was great. The kids had a great time and to be honest wore both of us and them out. They had a great time. The life guards are great and really try to help the kids with the different slides and pools. We booked two... More

was a little expensive on certain ends, but worth every penny. highly recommend any time of year, but, considering i'm a sun junkie, i get a cabana tent and spend the whole time outside in the sun. It's relaxing and fun. great for every member of the family. Have stayed in the studio and the family suite and both are... More

My children and I (ages 11-7) spent 2 nights in a 2 queen room and enjoyed the resort. The room was clean and the small refrigerator and stove made eating small meals and snacks easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. The elective Time share tour was informative and the sales team not too pushy. It was too cool to be... More
