Waterpark themed resort, has something for kids and adults of all ages. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean. Did not eat at restaurants in resort, as we just wanted some time away at some of our other favorite restaurants in Pigeon Forge.

The thrill of a water park never gets old, but is sure can get dirty. There is something about seeing your kids in grey water that feels a little skeevy. That said, the slides were really fun, the lines not too long but I would think of this as a cheaper alternative to a theme-park vacation and not a relaxing... More

Short Version - Had reservations for four nights. Were told at Check in that they were overbooked and we had to leave after two nights. Told by front desk to call Manager (Julie) because if they call nothing will get done. Call Julie, she tells me that they are overbooked and nothing she can do. Ask her is she could... More

A little pricey, but worth it. Rooms have little toiletries and towels so bring your own. Don't plan on putting kids in sofa beds because ac units blow directly into their faces. Great water parks for all ages. A Little frustrating navigating the hotel and park due to construction. Eat away from hotel. Kids eat free only applies when adults... More

Ok first off I had never been before so we decided to go for my sons birthday. I made reservations by phone for 2 nights, then we decided to stay an extra night so I called and added another night to our stay, the day before we leave I called to check our reservations and they had NOT added the... We stayed here one night over spring break, and our kids had a great time. There was plenty for them to do and they stayed busy in the indoor park for well over 7 hours. I found several hairs in the water which I'm sure is inevitable but it was still gross. I also wish they had painted the bottom... More

We went for a 4 days during our spring break, my kids our 10 and 8 and they had lots of fun in the indoor waterpark. Granted it was crowded but it was spring break. Definately worth the trip, my kids had a blast in the wave pool and on the slides. The wave pool was always jammed and chaotic.... More

I cant speak on the food as we had a kitchenette, but I can say the place is great for a family or couple getaway. We had a suite which was great as there were eight of us and we all had a place to sleep. The rooms are well kept and feel like home. The waterpark was great for... More

After reading the wide range of reviews on this place, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But now, after three visits since September 2011, I think I have a better idea how I feel about The Wilderness. What this place is: A great place to take your kids! They will love it! What this place is NOT: Quiet, relaxing, or... More

We had a lot of fun here. There is construction going on around the outdoor pool. I wish you didnt have to go inside to walk from indoor pool to outdoor pool but I guess that is their creative marketing to make you go thru the arcade. Problem is you walk thru wet leaving the floors wet and most people... More
