First of all it really grieves my family to write this review. The Wilderness Resort has been a winter tradition for six straight years now. The Wilderness Lodge was one of the premier resorts in the Smokies, but it has become just another hotel. The check in process was excellent, be advised when you are checked in you will be... More

After waiting 1 hour and 17 minutes in the checkin line the lady at the front desk could not do anything to compensate for the long delay... not even a sorry for the delay. She refused to get a manager. It would not be so upsetting but 4 of the 8 check in lines were never open. At points during... More

We stayed here for two nights as a large group, 4 adults and 4 kids. Rooms: The rooms were basic. We got a King Sofa with Balcony in the Stone Hill Lodge per family. The room was much smaller than expected, quite cramped in fact. The amenities are and linens/bath are very basic. The room was clean. I guess they... More

We took our 11 year old & her BFF for a a surprise birthday present. Great value for the money. Clean rooms, friendly staff and safe atmosphere. Food was a little pricey but we found room service to be delicious and convenient.

Room had a funny smell. We were in the Stone Hill Lodge which is disconnected from the main building. Had to ride a shuttle to get down to the waterpark, they seemed to run pretty regularly. The rooms said non smoking but clearly smelled smoke on the second floor of our building. Beds were not very comfy. Waterpark was ok... More

We visited Wilderness at the Smokies just prior to Christmas. We stayed in a room with the full kitchen. The room was great. It surprised us that the kids did not want to spend more time in the water park. It was extremely crowded so I think this may have overwhelmed them. They really enjoyed the arcade though. The food... We went on a family trip with ages ranging from 9 - 74 and everybody had a good time, my only suggestion would be to have the on-site restaurants open later. The arcade was a blast and the slides had almost no lines😃

Rooms are nice, we book the two suite with an full kitchen. Waterpark is an kids adventure... More

The resort accommodations a nice. The whole resort is clean. Nothing was dirty. The staff was very helpful and wanted to be sure you were happy. The prices of menu items in restaurants are not bad and kids eat free with adult purchase. The dinner buffet was not good and over priced. The game room was also over priced. The... More

This resort is awesome! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillows were very comfy. I loved the kitchenette area in the room. My view was perfect as well. My room was facing the outdoor waterpark area. The only critique I would have would be better parking.
