I experienced Grey Gables with a group of 15 friends. We were overwhelmed by the welcoming atmosphere, the incredible food, the comfortable rooms, and the amazing Linda Brooks Jones! We could not have been happier with our stay. Highlights include fresh tomato soup, homemade yeast rolls, sherry chicken, homemade biscuits, fresh fruit, farm fresh eggs, sausage and biscuits! One wakes... More

This was our fourth stay at the Grey Gables. It's just about 15 minutes from Jamestown which is the center for the Worlds Longest Yard Sale. The Inn does not jack up it's fee during this annual event. A rarity along the route. What is special about the Inn. The Owner. She is one of those people that your just... More

We visited this lovely bed-and-breakfast last weekend. It was very relaxing and peaceful - just what we wanted. Linda is a wonderful innkeeper and her hospitality was amazing. And I cannot even begin to say enough good things about the food. Everything was delicious. Thank you Linda for a wonderful getaway! Angela & David

Grey Gables is a wonderful Inn. I have stayed there many times over the years. The Inn is great. You can always count on a clean beautiful room with comfortable beds and furnishings. After staying there, it is hard to find anywhere else that can compare. Aside from the accommodations, Linda is a gracious host and a fantastic cook. You... More

We have visited Grey Gables several times; often spending two or three nights, but also just popping in for a nice lunch with the "girls" on a day of exploring. Linda is so personable and is a wonderful cook, from the rolls to the special entrees and deserts, each meal is a special treat. You feel right at home with... More

I cannot say enough nice things about our stay at Grey Gables. Linda and her daughter, Tiffany, took excellent care of us. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were roomy and clean. (I found out that Jimmy Carter had stayed in the same room I stayed in!) The meals were SO good! Linda who I believe owns and... More

Room was clean. Beds comfortable. Food was amazing. Every bite all of us ate was wonderful. Hostess accommodates special needs, allergies, etc. Handicapped friendly, BUT there are small steps into home, out to main dining area, and into shower (6") that would be difficult if truly wheelchair bound. Not great for small kids as Victorian décor means lots of breakables... More

This place feels like home from the time one ascends the stairs to the spacious front porch where cats of all colors and sizes laze about in the sun. Our room (Tiffany) was very spacious and had a unique king size bed made from two antique 3/4 beds with a connector matress. We enjoyed the walk-in closet and the large... More

What a spectacular time we had at Grey Gables. The hospitality, warmth, and incredible service were unmatched. The delicious food was all homemade and absolutely scrumptious! The Victorian Inn is nestled in a historic area of Rugby, which was so charming and took me back to times gone by. I highly recommend Grey Gables to anyone looking for rest, great... More

Last fall we finally made our way to Rugby, TN, an amazing village we'd long planned to visit. We stayed at Grey Gables, a mile or so out of the center, were fed royally, enjoyed the use of the lounge, were delighted with the owner Linda's recommendations (especially about seeing the park, home, grist mill of Sgt. York and the... More
