While it isn't far off I-81, it is well worth the trip. Hale Springs Inn is well worth the side track. Rogersville is Tennnessee's second oldest city. The oldest city is Greenville which is nearby. Both cities are absolutely lovely and well preserved. Hale Springs is the best place to stay to take in both early Tennessee towns. Hale Springs... More

This hotel has a lot of history in a well manicured, small, declining town. The staff are wonderful and the food reasonable in price and quality. BUT we stayed in the Andrew Johnson Suite which is a large under-furnished room at the front of the hotel right on the street. For such a small town there was a fair amount... More

We stayed at the Hale Springs Inn for two nights. The Inn is lovely and clean. We stayed in the Brown room and could not have been more pleased with the look and feel of the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had the pleasure of meeting Shane, Ashley and Buck (chef) who were very courteous and... More

We stayed on Valentines Day. The rooms are very clean, the staff very friendly, and the dinner and the show was very entertaining. We enjoyed this experience. They offered us early check in. Which was very nice as well.

The place is great with a couple of exceptions. We stayed for two nights visiting family. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Each room had a tree and lovely lights and decor. We stayed in the Polk Suite. Loved the bed. It was wonderful but I do not understand why there was no tv in the room. There is a... More

Thank you for your feedback! I wanted to address our areas that you felt needed improvement so that your next stay can exceed your expectations. The road noise, unfortunately, is an issue for some. We have solid brick exterior walls which do not insulate road noise very well; however, as a solution we are currently researching alarm clocks for each... More

This scenic town has a jewel in the Hale Springs Inn. Gorgeous building, fine food and a setting so charming that walking down the street feels like walking onto a movie set. We were surprised at the scope of the inn's interior. The ceilings are high, the hallways are enormous, and our suite (Jackson) was huge. We decided to join... More

The best place to stay in town! Great beds, with oversized rooms. Dinner food is good, Breakfast is good, but coffee needs a little help. Not a deal breaker. I would say the coffee at Disney World Resorts (that Nescafé stuff) is comparable to this coffee.

Although only staying one night, the Hale Springs Inn will be a cherished memory for a long time to come. From the scenic drive we choose to get there, to the easy check in, I had a good feeling early on that this would be a much needed escape from the hustle and stress of our jobs and the Holiday... What a beautiful inn with wonderfully kind staff! Upon checking in, you'll be asked to make your breakfast selection for the next morning along with the time you'd like to eat. The dining there is really second to none in town and the chef knows his business! The rooms are all fantastic, although if you have a special request (like... More
