We gathered here for a wedding that was held nearby. The sitting area was perfect for the family to relax while waiting for the others to get ready. It was great to have everyone in one place, very homey. Comfortable but not über clean (think truck stop bathroom). The rooms are small, but no one spent time in their room.... More

We had a booking for the Donoho Hotel for just one night (thankfully) as we needed a place to stay in that area. My Husband found it in a travel book and it looked nice enough, I had my doubts after reading reviews but gave in to him. As soon as we stepped into the lobby I knew I did... More

The Donoho Hotel in Red Boiling Springs, TN is like stepping back in time. A place to relax and enjoy good food and peace and quiet. Also, the water was known for years to have healing qualities. Entertainment at different times in the theater. Try going in the spring.

Great historic hotel but very much run down. We visited family staying here and they had a horrible time checking in (no one there), their room (number 1) had a sagging ceiling tile over their bed, room/place was smelly (cat urine), no breakfast for them the next morning! There ARE cute cats all around the property and the Salt Lick... More

We did not get to stay here. But, our group ate lunch here and I have never had better food. It was served family style. The chicken was delicious and there was nothing on the table that was not first rate. I have certainly paid more for much less. A really great dining experience.

I found this review online looking for photos of the Donoho because a couple of years ago I took some photos of the B&B and have misplaced them. My husband and I have visiting all three Red Boiling B&Bs as we enjoy these such establishments and on occassion need a mini break as I am a busy photographer and hair... More

I grew up hearing stories about how lumber from my grandparents' land was used for this hotel, so when I went back to do some genealogical research, I had to stay there. The Donoho Hotel was built around 1914. It is one of only three left from when Red Boiling Springs was a major tourist attraction in the South. People... More

Do not waste your time or money visiting this establishment. This place is a dump. Cockroaches in the rooms. Sewer bugs in the showers. The Hotel itself is not maintained and is falling down. Not to mention they bait and hook you with one price when you make a reservation, and another much higher price when you actually get there.... More

Dear A Hugh Disappointment, I read your review on trip advisor and was rather scocked by all comments. First of all I would like to inform you that the hotel is under new management and the majority of the staff memebers were let go. As I look back into the regestry, Im sorry I don't see any reservation for this... More
