We absolutely love the donoho. We was there during the car show. The donoho isn't the hotel which host the car show the Thomas house is, but a previous review stated otherwise which was incorrect. We ate all three nights and that wasn't remotely what was on their menu. The fried chicken we had was perfect. Moist and juicy. Homemade... More

We enjoyed our trip to Red Boiling Springs TN and our stay at The Donoho Hotel. The hospitality and food were awesome! The renovations to the hotel were great, far different then when we stayed many years ago, awesome job! The food was so delicious! The owners were so wonderful, kind, and helpful, they made our trip so memorable. Thank... More

They host an annual old car show on their lawn each year and have lunch ih the dining room of this old wood hotel. If you like old hotels this one has plenty of atmosphere but a little to cluttered up. They offered a buffet lunch that included chicked fried steak, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, biscuits, cole slaw and banana... More

Our family stayed in the Donoho for a wedding we attended at the Donoho Hotel. It was a great place to stay with a beautiful scenery. A very southern experience. Breakfast was also delicious! We will be back!.

On the way to Nashville, my family stopped for a night at the Donoho Hotel. Before he goes off to college, we wanted our 18 year old son to experience staying in a country inn and eating country cooking prepared the way my wife and I remembered it when we were kids. Oh my . . . were our expectations... More

This hotel is adorable. Just the right amount of beautiful antiques, cozy rooms, unbelievable prices and newly refurbished bathrooms! We stayed for one night, sat on the patio and drank some wine from the Red Barn Winery, slept in our cozy little rooms, drank our morning coffee while rocking on the porch and then came running when we heard the... It felt like we were staying with family. Quiet, cozy, beautiful, clean, and very friendly. Wendy and John are amazing, and extremely good hosts. We had a big country breakfast every morning with all the fixins. So good! Those biscuits tho....heaven! There were no t.v. or phones in the room, however they had good wifi. To be honest, it doesn't... More

We had lunch at the Donoho this past Sunday. The food was wonderful, served family style. Staff was super friendly, very attentive, and the atmosphere was great. It's very apparent that much recent work has gone into sprucing up this wonderful old hotel recently. The surroundings were immaculate. I am now inspired to want to spend a weekend there in... More

Classic bed and breakfast. Great food and hospitality. Owner doing a great job of refurbishing and updating throughout the hotel. Maybe the dogs next door would no longer be an issue, though they didn't bother me at night as they did my wife. Super comfortable beds. Perfect for getting away from the world for a weekend. Great pricing also.

Loved it! We are going to make this a yearly retreat. Ms Wendy is the most hospitable hostess that I've ever meet and Mr John is a wonderful host himself. The rooms are very nice and clean. If you wish to have a nice, peaceful get away this is the place. Highly recommended! Thank you for treating us like family.... More
