As we pulled into the James Manor hotel, our first sight was two police cars parked out front. Not a good sign for the place you are planning to stay at for the next two nights. Husband goes in to check us in and is followed out by said police. We still don't know what happened. Next on to find... More

We were very disappointed. When we arrived I had already made our reservations in advance the man whom was the owner was checking everyone in which did not give a proper greeting not even a smile. He was seemed so overwhelmed with the line of people he did not take the time to notice who was staying at his hotel. When we... More

Nice older motel sets right in front of the new "Island" shopping, attraction area in Pigeon Forge. Clean room with fireplace and hot tub. Comfortable bed too. Excellent complimentary breakfast. The lady who kept the breakfast area filled was exceptionally friendly. I left my phone charger when we checked out...they were nice enough to hold on to it for a... More

My family and I stayed at this hotel last April and had the worst experience of any hotel! There was never enough towels, no room to sit in the breakfast room, the rooms are outdated, and there was no internet the entire time we were there. In addition, the refrigerator barely worked. Despite all of those things, we decided for... More

Our family stays here every time we get a chance for a little weekend getaway. Their prices are reasonable and everything was clean. My only complaints would be that their TV's need to be updated and that the chlorine smell from the pool is very strong.

Stayed here for a long weekend. Absolutely wonderful! Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and bright rooms. Refrigerator and microwave. Great price. Nice indoor pool (very warm...like a bathtub!). Great location close to everything. You can walk to the Island and the Wheel. Fantastic value all the way around. Nothing super fancy but a really nice place to stay.

We have stayed at James Manor 3 times in the last month. We live just hours away but LOVE Pigeon Forge!! The first time we were welcomed by Kim and she was awesome. She was very polite and friendly. Breakfast was okay, it could have been better. The waffles were thawed out and the bread was stale:-( My kids loved... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. THe rooms were clean and big and bright. The staff were friendly and easy to work with for the most part. Our only issue was our room was not cleaned until late in the day. We stayed for a week. SO asking for towels from the housekeepers was difficult because none of them spoke... More

Thank you for your comments. We appreciate them very much and are glad that you liked our hotel. We apologize for the late cleaning of your room as well as the housekeepers not being able to speak English. The lateness of cleaning can be due to the occupancy and the number of housekeepers available. Yes - the housekeepers are not... More
