This is the fourth visit to the James Manor for us. We stay every July for a family reunion. The rate they give us is great for the time of year. It is convenient for us and the attractions that we enjoy visiting. The option of an indoor and outdoor pool is nice. Most all of the front desk staff... More

If your looking for the WOW factor..keep looking you will not find it @ THIS PLACE. If your just wanting a place to lay your head look no futher. It would be a decent place if it was Updated and didn't smell like mold I wouldn't even take my shoes off. The only plus to this place is the Island... More

I used to Manage hotels, so I tend to be a bit leanient when there are slight mishaps, such as, an unkeeped and unstocked pool area or non-functioning elevator. However, when it comes to the condition of my room and basic questions, I expect that all housekeeping and front desk associates are trained thoroughly to provide a superior level of... More

After a mishap at another hotel , this place is where my family came to stay. Very clean and polite staff. Could use a bit of a "refresh" here and there, but overall WE LOVED IT. We will book a room here again.

We stayed here for one day and night and that will be the last. We decided to spend our last night here due to the location. The place is outdated to say the least. The decor in our room could definitely use a renovation. There was a moderate hole in the paneling beside the bathroom door. After noticing some of... More

We are currently at this hotel, and it is terrible. The facilities are mostly gross - not clean, outdated, etc. Almost every staff person we have encountered has been, at best, unhelpful. Most of them are rude. Our room looks directly at the big The Island sign, and there are no room darkening shades to block out the intense and... More

Stayed at James Manor in September for 10 years. In 2012, we reported seeing a bed bug on the pillow. It was investigated & reported to us that it was an ant. In 2013, same room, we got up in the middle of the night & when turning on the light discovered bedbugs. We did not get an apology. The... More

Indoor hot tub and pool can be a plus, or it can do what the James manor has done. Walking in the front door you are meet with a slap to the senses and then the burning from Ll the chlorine in the air hits the lungs. Later at the outdoor pool you are created with ice raining down from... More

My wife and I just stayed at the James Manor in Pigeon Forge over the weekend. This is not our first time staying here and definitely won't be our last. You see, we have been staying here for over 8 years now when we visit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, TN. We are ALWAYS greeted with a warm and contagious smile... More
