My family stayed from 12/30 to 01/01, we stayed for New Years. Stayed during Christmas weekend, was a very pleasurable experience, as always. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean, and a decent complimentary breakfast, makes for a wonderful stay. The proximity to the island and other attractions are ideal. We have stayed here too many times to count, never a bad experience.

It's an older hotel and the rooms are showing wear but they are clean and spacious. We had a two room family suite #515. The views of the parkway are great. I picked this hotel due to the location and the fact it had balconies...I was going to book it thru Hotels.com but in order to guarantee a balcony I called the hotel and booked through them which did cost me more...upon arrival they said they had nothing down about room preference! James Manor is a very nice, clean hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Breakfast was great and the lady in the breakfast room was very sweet. JM is conventially located to everything around The Island. I will be definetly be staying there again.

if you have a room facing the island each room has a small balcony. Some rooms have a solid steel door . Ours had a glass window with min blinds between the glass . If you need dark to sleep the lights from the Ferris wheel cannot be blocked out. The beds were comfortable; the front desk staff was great.... More

There is no protien at all at this hotel. Waffles, cereal, biscuit&gravy, bread,and sweets apples for fruit. I SUGGEST YOU PLAN ON EATING AT LOCAL EATERY. Pancake house across the street. acroos the street and down about 2 blocks is a breakfast buffet very nice and not overly pricey. If you get a chance go to the Blackwoods Morning Show
