We wanted a quiet, cozy campground area to stay for the weekend and Alpine Hideaway was perfect! The entire campground was very well maintained and the bathrooms/showers were very clean. We had a simple cabin with a full sized bed which also came with a microwave and a mini fridge. Everything was spotless and kept very neat. The owners were... More

Very near all the action, but located between two hills peace and quiet.Staff was wonderful. Could hear birds in the morning and tree frogs at night. Been there 3 years in a row for a week each time. Campfires at night, picnic table when family came. Will definitely direct family and friends to this place. Like that they are Christain... More

My fiancé and I were recently on a long motorcycle cross country trip passing through the Smokey mountain region and came across Alpine Hideaway campgrounds whilst looking for an escape from the rain. We were pleasantly suppressed at the price of cabins and to make things better the cabin was extraordinary clean and equipped with TV,fridge and a microwave! The... More

We stayed 3 nights in our 45 foot Prevost with Jeep on tow bar. Stayed in pull through spot # 58 & had plenty of room for bus & Jeep. Nice quite camp ground. Very friendly staff. They have security gate so no outsiders can come in without code which is nice & helps keep campground private. Will stay there... More

When I read the rave reviews some people wrote I question WHO wrote them. We tented for only one night. To start you should know there are only THREE tents sites, but all have electric and water. Someone decided to put down one inch rough stone gravel on the camp sites making for a VERY rough floor surface and even... More

Our family stumbled upon Alpine Hideaway while seeking out a place to camp for the 4th of July weekend. We are happy we did! The staff was very friendly and checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. The grounds and facilities were clean and they even put on a little gathering on top of the mountain... After calling multiple places in the Pigeon Forge area to tent camp, with no experience of camping in the area, we settled on Alpine Hideaway Campground because of their price (we had to have electricity) and proximity to Patriot Park for the July 4th weekend. The employee who answered my call and booked my dates, Nikki, could not have been... More

This was our first time staying at Alpine Hideaway Campground. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our cabin and the amenities were clean and well kept. When we choose to make another trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, this may become our place we call "home" away from home. In addition, it is in a prime location at the edge of... More

What a wonderful place. This was our third time visiting there staying in a cabin. The staff is wonderful, super friendly and very helpful. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is great. They even remembered us from the previous year. It's a well kept place. I love that it is near everything but when you... More
