We've camped at "Up the Creek" a couple of times the past year and LOVE it! Lots are a nice size, privacy between most lots; ours backed up to the creek each time we camped which is what we requested. We were happy with both sites. We like the park due to it NOT having a bath house, laundry, pool,... More

We found the site, No. 17 which was just across from the office to be good size with plenty of privacy. The park was well kept and attractive. The problem we had was with the internet, which was almost non existent. It was on and off constantly. We had to download an update to our GPS which took almost 30... More

Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear you liked your campsite and the RV Camp. We did experience a hardware issue during your stay that caused the internet signal to work for a while and then fail. We did make 3 service calls to try to address the problem, but it took longer than usual to diagnose.... More

Me and wife just went up there from Mississippi and this is place is really nice and clean and the landscaping is really nice. I can imagine it will be really nice in the summer but it was extremely cold while we were there and got to see some snow. But we have always rented a cabin over the years.... More

I called and talked to one of the owners? told him the dates we wanted to stay and we were assigned to site 16. On the maps it looked like there were trees all around the site and plenty of shade but, there was one short tree that was in the way when you are backing in, no shade. The... More

We appreciate your opinion. Our rates in October ARE higher than the rest of the year, however, our rates most of the year are very competitive, starting at $32 for a full hookup site, and $36 for a site on one of our creeks. We DO accept requests for specific site numbers, however, like most campgrounds in our area, we... More

We had a great stay. It was a pleasant hide away after a busy day! Nice concrete pad for picnic table. Plenty of shade, fenced in dog run and full hookup including cable and internet. Staff was very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

Our son stayed here 2 years ago and we came for one night and loved it so we came(and another couple) for a week this year.we love that it is just far enough off main road to feel secluded but close to get to things. The campground is beautiful with plenty of trees for shade, very large spots, nice cement... More

3-4 miles from everything and not real easy to find but is quiet and shady. Small shallow streams border two sides. Gravel pads with cement patios. Fire rings. No pool, laundry or rec area. Dog walking pen.

We stopped over for a couple of days on our way up north and - Wow - We were very glad we did. It was just what we were looking for! We got into town earlier than we expected and called them to see if it was possible to check in early, they called us back within the hour and... More

First I would like to say we have stayed in many campgrounds and Up the Creek is BY FAR the best. We stayed in spot 29 that a previous post had some negative comments made. We must disagree. ..yes the sewer is quite a distance away, but one short trip to walmart fixed that. The creek was beautiful and our... More

Our family of six (4 kids ages 9-12) recently stayed at Up the Creek for 7 nights and have no complaints whatsoever. The campground is as advertised and we, including the kids, did not mind the fact there was no playground or showerhouse. When you have full hook-ups...why do you need a shower house? We are in the Smoky Mountains...why... More
