We stayed at the Whisperwood Farm B & B for our 28th Anniversary . Janice the Innkeeper made us feel so welcome! Our room was beautifully decorated and cozy. Everything so romantic and comfortable. The room and bath incredibly clean and private. The Dessert waiting in our room when we returned from a visit to nearby Gatlinburg,SCRUMPTIOUS! Breakfast on the... more

First off, it is NOT in Pigeon Forge (thankfully!!!), but in Cosby, a much quieter, less traveled part of the Smokies on the Tennessee side. I can't imagine why anyone would want to stay in Pigeon Forge or even Gatlinburg, when Cosby is so much quieter, but then again, we are two adults traveling without children, so there you go.... more

My wife and I had a wonderful anniversary trip at Whisperwood! Several things made the stay fantastic: Location: It is located about 18 miles from Gatlinburg (a 30 minute drive), so you have access to the town attractions, dining, and shopping. It is also a very short drive (5 minutes from the Inn) to the Foothills Parkway which has some... more

Staying at the Whisperwood was a wonderful start to our vacation. We were only able to stay for one night, but will definately be back! It is tucked back in a small mountain town and makes you feel like are truely getting away from everything. There are lots of places to relax on the property and the innkeepers seemed very... more

We have stayed at a lot of B&B over the years but this was by far the best ever. The room was gorgeous, overlooking a small creek, with a wonderful soft gurgling sound, with a hot tub just steps away. The setting was beautiful in the Smokies but what made the stay so memorable was the innkeeper Janice. She must stay... more

We stayed Feb15-17,2008. The wedding arrangements came together beautifully. The breakfasts were wonderful. Plenty of food. Homemade fruit toppings for french toast, smoothies, ham with cranberries, corn, quiches, bacon amazing! In the evening homemade blackberry and raspberry pies were the raves. Homemade toppings for ice cream sundaes. Tea's were divine. Food at the wedding reception excellent. Wedding cake not only... more

My sister-in-law, who lives in PA, found Whisperwood online and recommended it since we did not want the typical Gatlinburg wedding. After touring the chapel, the inn, and talking with Janice and Tifton(Innkeepers), we knew this was the perfect place for our special day. Janice and her professional staff made our wedding ever so special, every detail handled-no stress for... more

What a wonderful bed and breakfast. It was the perfect start to a long journey. The friendliness of the owners, the solitude of the mountains, the beauty of the rooms and the food! What a wonderful breakfast. I felt so relaxed and refreshed. I highly recommend this B&B for a getaway/retreat. Beautiful and friendly. Hope to go back next year. more
