This hotel is very outdated and desperately needs new mattress, sheets and pillows. A little fresh paint would help to. Thus would for sure improve the hotel and they could ask a little more per night as this hotel has excellent views and a great park location for boating and golfing. For now it's still a great option for budget... More

Basics are ok. Exercise Room is out of service and apparently will be for some time to come. Pool area is good but there is a thin layer of green algae on the bottom of the pool. Not as clean as it should be. Overall seems a little dated and in need of a refresh. However prices are quite good.

Typical state park hotel. Clean but not kept updated. Food was good, not great. View from patio was of the river which is always a nice view. If you are looking for a reasonable family inn then this would be a place to come. Close to water for boating and has a swimming pool.

Typical state park inn. Great location, but somewhat run down, not well managed. Restaurant service is poor, food is OK. No refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. Swallows nesting in the eaves with droppings on windows, patios and walkways.

We stayed at The Inn at Pickwick Landing for the first time Saturday night in one of their pet friendly rooms after being on the water all day. It was just cool place, I mean its not the Ritz, but it was perfect for us. The view is fantastic, they had a large pool that a lot of kids were... More

Stayed here after visiting Shiloh National Battlefield and before visiting Jack Daniels in Lynchburg. The view from the room was really nice. The room itself was a basic state park room - it needed to be updated and the comforters and carpet should be updated. The toiletries provided were not used by us - I really don't like my shampoo... This was my third stay at the INN at Pickwick Landing. I was there with 40 other guys on a 4-day golf trip. We enjoyed our stay and it was close to all of the golf courses we were playing for the week. The rooms are clean (only one day we did not receive maid service), the views spectacular overlooking... The hotel is located on the shore of Pickwick Lake with a great view of the dam and each room has a balcony. The rooms are a bit outdated, but very clean. However, the halls have a very musty smell and the beds are in dire need of replacement as they are extremely worn and very uncomfortable. I'd give the... More

Visiting my sister in Michie Tennessee, on the way home from the east coast this summer, we kind of just lucked out by finding this gem. We were very fortunate to find eight days open at this time of year. It is located in a State Park (room even includes park entrance fee), and is just fantastic in every way.... More
