What a great time at the New Year's event! The perfect situation for a safe New Year's celebration! The pkg includes dinner, dance, breakfast & the room. The staff was great. Be sure to get a room overlooking the lake.

The grounds of the Inn are decorated with dozens of Christmas scenes, many of which depict the Nativity. That was a pleasant surprise. There weren't too many lookers there tonight so we stopped several times to get a better look. Many scenes were of Santa slacking off. One was him fishing, one playing golf and another of him in a... Stayed here over the weekend for a granddaughters 12th birthday . She was thrilled with the balcony and inside pool. We arrived just as a cold front blew in so we were not as ready to walk around as we might, but there are beautiful places to walk to and see. The marina and water is lovely. The mattresses could... You cannot expect too much at ANY state park. States have limited funds for improvement and little enough for property maintenance. Food will always be the same---institutional. This hotel is 13 years old. It caters a lot to conference groups. Beware, groups can get noisy especially when they inhabit the same floor as you. That was the case with us.... More

This hotel is very outdated and desperately needs new mattress, sheets and pillows. A little fresh paint would help to. Thus would for sure improve the hotel and they could ask a little more per night as this hotel has excellent views and a great park location for boating and golfing. For now it's still a great option for budget... More

Basics are ok. Exercise Room is out of service and apparently will be for some time to come. Pool area is good but there is a thin layer of green algae on the bottom of the pool. Not as clean as it should be. Overall seems a little dated and in need of a refresh. However prices are quite good.

Typical state park hotel. Clean but not kept updated. Food was good, not great. View from patio was of the river which is always a nice view. If you are looking for a reasonable family inn then this would be a place to come. Close to water for boating and has a swimming pool.

Typical state park inn. Great location, but somewhat run down, not well managed. Restaurant service is poor, food is OK. No refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. Swallows nesting in the eaves with droppings on windows, patios and walkways.

We stayed at The Inn at Pickwick Landing for the first time Saturday night in one of their pet friendly rooms after being on the water all day. It was just cool place, I mean its not the Ritz, but it was perfect for us. The view is fantastic, they had a large pool that a lot of kids were... More

Stayed here after visiting Shiloh National Battlefield and before visiting Jack Daniels in Lynchburg. The view from the room was really nice. The room itself was a basic state park room - it needed to be updated and the comforters and carpet should be updated. The toiletries provided were not used by us - I really don't like my shampoo...
