I live fairly local to this hotel, but stayed here when I could not get home for the night. The check in was a bit stressed. There were lots of softball players in town for a tornament. One of them was giving the desk clerk heck for making a minor mistake in his reservation, and holding up the line, as if he was the most important person in the world.
The room was exceptional Comfortable, roomy, and quiet. The curtains made the room nice and dark for sleeping. They had a nice recliner, that I watched TV in. I could have slept in it all night!
There is a lounge on the property, that serves beer. If you want anything stronger, you have to bring it in, and pay for a setup. (Local liquaor laws) Frankly the service there was a bit unfreindly. They pay more attention to the regular customers, most of whom are not hotel guests.
There is a good restaruant next store with a big buffet. There is also a fish and chips take out place. You can walk to both.
