The lobby is beautiful. The room we stayed in was a corner room with a view of Broadway as well as the train tracks. Nice, fresh, well decorated. The only thing I would change would be to have the mattresses covered with the good mattress covers. It's kindof gross that they don't have these. The hotel charges $36 per day... More

What a gem. Beautiful restoration of an old railroad station. Now a hotel with a theme of railroads. Nice bar and restaurant. Love the stained glass ceiling in central part of building as well as several of the conference or rooms for parties. In sure this is a pricier place to throw a party, but it would be memorable.

We booked this beautiful hotel 6 months ago for two nights. When we arrived we were overbooked. They offered us a good hotel nearby. We saw a wedding (?) was taking all their attention. What we did'nt like was the unwelcome and stressed approach. Not welcome, we should leave. Now. The next day we checked in (again). The room was... More

A great historic hotel that is close, yet far enough away from the late night excitement on Broadway. And head in the other direction, there are many great "non-touristy" restaurants in The Gulch. We were on the first floor and heard no trains. The room was spacious and very clean. Loved how they did the soaps, lotions, and shampoos in... More

Dear Mike L, Thank you for enjoying the trains going by when you weren't walking around Nashville! While the proximity of trains to our hotel is puzzling to some guests, it's a rush for many guests who are either excited or soothed by them. The Gulch, located just south of the hotel along the tracks, is definitely an area to... More

Stayed here for three nights for a quick trip to Nashville. The lobby is beautiful as is the exterior of the builidng. As soon as you head into the hallways though, the wear and tear begin. The Marriott should really spend some money to fix the worn carpet and scuffed walls. The room we stayed in was very large with... More

Dear Kells6029, Happy to hear you took advantage of starting out each morning in Prime 108 with breakfast and that you found our staff extremely friendly. The revitalized Gulch near the hotel continues to grow and provide more options to visitors...its not just The Station Inn that's a draw anymore. We are addressing the condition in our efforts to be... More

Our first visit to Nashville. The hotel is just beautiful! Was a train station built around 1900. Not inexpensive. All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Quite a change from typical South Florida service personnel! Every employee that we encountered asked if they could help us in any way. Room was large and airy. Hotel is located .5... More

We reserved a room with a king bed. We got the king bed, but it was in a room that was too small for it, and two people. Our room was jam-packed with furniture. It was difficult for us to move around. Worse, the person sleeping on the far side of the bed from the bathroom had a very narrow... More

Dear Thruthegarden, Thanks for the feedback on the room...we will look to rearrange the set-up to ensure their is ample room for passage. We are also making life more difficult for the few birds who like the 'higher elevation'. I appreciate you spending the time to share your thoughts Sincerely, Mike Nelson General Manager More

My husband and I went to Nashville for a romantic and fun get-away. This hotel being a turn of the century restored train station (romantic) and being only a few blocks from music row (fun) was a good place for us to stay. The lobby is really impressive and check-in was easy and efficient. Being that it was late July... More

Dear Atlantausa4, Yes it is possible to go uphill both ways - that also means a portion of the walk is also downhill both ways! The walk down Broadway provides a spectacular view of the city and the once you top that last small hill at 6th Avenue, the music starts to ring out, calling you downhill towards the river.... More

This hotel was transformed from a beautiful railway terminal into a beautiful hotel at what had to be an investment of millions. Loving railroads, ornate urban historic architecture and grand hotels we could not wait to arrive. As we drove up, had our baggage brought in and entered the majestic lobby we starred in awe above and in every direction,... More

Dear Richard S, Transforming a train station of waiting areas, restaurants and offices does provide some unique opportunities not afforded a building specifically designed as a hotel, and we will transform it again in 2016. I am glad you sought us out to appreciate the beauty of our hotel. I still stare up in awe everyday myself. Sincerely, Mike Nelson... More

This is a fantastic use for an old train station. The room was huge, the bedding marvelous, wifi great. The location is perfect for walking the downtown music area, and the Frist Museum was across the street and definitely worth a look. The art and architecture of the facility is really something. I agree that I wish they had individual... More

Dear okaugust, Happy to hear that you enjoyed the art and architecture of Union Station Hotel as well our neighbor, the Frist Center for Visual Arts. While our marketing material doesn't have to say 'Must love architecture', it is nice that so many of our guests take such an interest in it. I appreciate the detailed review, as we always... More
