All of the front desk people were very nice and accommodating throughout the stay. Greg, the valet/bellman was extremely welcoming and informative, and he even remembered my name every time I saw him. I originally checked into a king sized guest room on the second floor. the room was nice and spacious, but there cell phone reception was really poor.... More

The city's old train station nicely renovated into a hotel. Staff was excellent, room very clean and well appointed. The only problem was that it was impossible to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. This was especially a problem in the bathroom where the air conditioning vent was in the ceiling right above the toilet. So, if you were... More

Dear SeamusDad, The magnificence and splendor of the railroad era in the early 20th century is definitely captured in this historic landmark, and the trains passing remind us of that time. Our staff strives to provide a level of service that matches the sense awe that we all feel when we first see the lobby, and I am pleased the... More

The rooms are poorly insulated for noise. Noise is a significant distractor, whether from outside or the room above. The AC system sounds more like an aircaft labouring to get going than what it should be. Easier to sleep sweating than endure the noise.

Stay at this historic hotel and you'll take a step back in time. Set on the edge of downtown the architecture of this former train station will impress you upon arrival. The friendly and attentive staff along with the stunning lobby will further enhance your first impression. The rooms may be somewhat ordinary (get one away from the train tracks... More

Dear BEonVacation, Built in 1900 as a majestic railway station, our Richardson-Romanesque Union Station Hotel captures the spirit and romance of America’s great railroad era. Our staff has a special pride for the building and its history, and relish the idea of sharing that pride and history with our guests. We hope to see you back on your next trip... More

Attended a business meeting at Hotel. Staff was outstanding and very responsive. Food excellent and room were large, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Location provides easy walk to downtown attractions, the Gulch for restaurants and music as well as a short cab to Vanderbilt and West End. Train noise at night was only challenge, but most of us didn't even... More

When I get stuck in town (I live about an hour outside of Nashville), usually because of winter weather, I always stay at Union Station for several reasons, such as convenience to work, it's in a familiar part of town, and I like to treat myself on occasion. Union Station is a gift I give myself, and it's worth it... More

The building architecture is gorgeous! I stayed in a small room on the 5th floor which was nicely decorated and more than adequate for 1 person. I did not experience any issues with noise from other rooms or from outside. The staff members were all very friendly and performed their jobs well - front desk, restaurant, bell services and housekeeping.... More

Dear dlvan80, Our hotel is gorgeous and guests marvel at the Romanesque architecture, featuring, among other things, the original 65-foot barrel-vaulted stained glass ceiling and rare bas-relief sculptures that were a part of the wonder of turn-of-the-century train travel. Our associates are proud of that heritage and history and are eager to provide warm, friendly service throughout the hotel. I... More

I stayed here as part of a girl’s trip to Nashville in March. The location is ideal. It’s a quick five-minute walk to the honky tonk strip – where all the action is – as well as an up-and-coming area called The Gulch (trendy restaurants, nice retail shops and new condo developments). The hotel is gorgeous, and the rooms and... More

The hotel is beautiful and staff helpful, however it's massively overpriced. The rooms are what lets the hotel down. Our first option had a very small 'full' double bed, second had the smell of the kitchens coming through the A/C, third was option was ok, but all rooms are small, really poor TV, have no fridge, no free wifi, a... I organized a Corporate Retreat in March 2015 and everything was amazing! Our onsite coordinator, Alicia Johnson, went above and beyond all expectations. The AV coordinator, Shawn, was always present and eager to help. The catering manager, Jeremy was on top of everything, and Elyse and Sal were both incredibly helpful during out time there. The hotel itself is breathtaking,... More
