I loved this hotel - it is so refreshing to stay in a genuine boutique hotel with some real character. It is a converted railway station and the conversion has been done really well in a sort of modern, funky style but without losing the character of the building. We had a room that opened on to the balcony overlooking... more

Union Station is a beautiful hotel with unique architecture. The lobby/atrium is stunning! The staff (valets, concierge) was extremely helpful and professional. The room was modern and clean, but small. This hotel is convenient to the expressway, yet walking distance to downtown. We would definitely stay again. more

People should think hard before deciding whether this is the right choice as their Nashville hotel. There is a lot to admire and enjoy: the historic and really stunning public spaces, the exceptionally thoughtful staff, a warm and attractive bar, comfortable bedding, and proximity to the Frist Museum and Christ Church Cathedral. The hotel is well-maintained for the most part;... more

This is a beautiful hotel worth the money. I am always looking for unique places to stay and this was one. The service was very high quality and the rooms were nicely and recently decorated. The hotel restaurant was superb and a good value for the money, as the staff mentioned. We were within walking distance of the Nashville music... more

In regards to the internal architecture...fabulous. The cleanliness of the hotel itself was emaculate. Upon our arrival, we were not aware that there was a 20.00 valet paking fee or a 10.00 fee for other parking. If you chose not to valet park, you were given complicated instructions on where to go and how to pay for it. Once in... more

This hotel is historically wonderful. The rooms are very nice and the public areas are beautiful. However, the public area can be TOO public. When we stayed there a wedding took place in the lobby, so there was a mix of wedding guests and football fans coming back from the game trying to use the same space. After reading about... more

My husband and I stayed here Saturday evening. Front desk staff were not welcoming at all; in fact, in front of other guests around at the time, they told us the government rate was not available but because we booked it on the web they would "give it to us anyway." (very embarrassing) The room was nice, but there was... more

I was absolutely thrilled with my stay at Union Station. As an Architectural Historian, I have stayed in some of the finest historic hotels in the US. While the Breakers in Palm Beach still stands as my personal favorite (Im biased toward FL hotels), the Union Station was an incredible deal. The hotel staff took me on a wonderful tour,... more

My wife and I recently spent 3 nights at the Union Station hotel as part of a driving tour of Tennessee. The hotel's grand and unique architecture in the lobby and in our room are worth a visit by themselves. We had a beautiful, large modern room with a 20 foot ceiling and an 18 foot window with draw drapes.... more

We stayed at this hotel when we attended the CMA Music Fest this past June ('07). When we arrived, they took our car and brought us in to the desk, where we were greeted with all of our tickets, programs, info and key. We were ushered to our room - which was enormous! There were 3 of us and there... more
