Very friendly staff as we arrived. Made sure we had taxis on time! We couldn't get our room key to work and within minutes, the office staff walked with us and had maintenance fix it! This hotel is approximately 5 minutes from downtown Nashville. There are multiple bars across the street and a couple just right down the road, with a 5 minute walking distance from the hotel. I know it is only a two star hotel but I would certainly give it a four. The room was fine with a small fridge, microwave and coffer perculator plus iron, hair dryer etc. The cleaning ladies were super and the front desk representatives were great too. This hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the Sommett Centre. We stayed here one night while stranded in downtown Nashville. Our car broke down and was being fixed down the street, so we stayed here and made the best of being located so close to Broadway. We were in Nashville for the Celine concert Jan 13 2009-We wanted to stay close to downtown -most rooms were 200.00+/night and this did not include a $ 20 parking fee . I’m just back from a four-night stay at this hotel. The last time I was in Nashville (1997) the Country Music Hall of Fame was across the Street and there were tacky gift shops. All that is gone now. decent location, right next to freeway, music row is the next street over, downtown is way to far away to walk to if thats what you want to do, we drove everyplace, since the hotel wasnt really near any attractions. theres a great view of the skyline from the hotel balcony. bathroom was really small, free wireless internet, fairly clean. more
