Beautiful older hotel, beautiful site, not so close from downtown. Shuttle service to and from hotel is not dependable. Had to wait over an hour at the airport before they picked us up although they said it would take 20 to 30 minutes. Service at desk is not too friendly....at times I wasn't so sure I was in the South... more

Well worth the price if booked through a discount hotel website. Close to the highway, spacious free parking, large and comfortable rooms overlooking the city skyline. Sprinkled with country music memorabilia throughout. Decent bar/restaurant on the premises. There's a free shuttle taking guests to Broadway and the downtown areas - a 10 minute ride, but getting back requires a taxi,... more

Travelling with my elderly mother we stayed at this hotel while visiting my sister in Nashville, We had additional travel plans so we only stayed one night. Great bed, got a wonderful nights sleep. The hotel lobby was spacious, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The pool was so inviting, if I had been able to stay longer I would have... more

I won a room at this hotel on a Priceline bid. I was staying in Nashville for just one night on the beginning of a 6 day road trip. To give you context, I am a 28 year old female and I regularly travel solo. I am a pretty seasoned domestic traveler and will have logged 3-4 weeks worth of... more

We traveled with a child to Nashville and wanted a good location, clean room but better than a motel, good price, and we got it. The Maxwell House has the atmosphere of a larger hotel with a huge lobby decorated with music items, a nice clean pool outdoors, gift shop (WAY overpriced), and the rooms were spacious, comfy beds with... more

We enjoyed our stay immensly. Especially nice were the shuttle drivers who were full of information about things to do. They eb=ven gave us tips on what places to see and not see that were outside of the five mile area they took us to, complete with directions on how to get there. Our room was beautiful and the bed... more

From arrival to departure, the staff was friendly, polite and offered suggestions. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, however the bathroom was small (tub/shower and toilet) and the sink was outside bathroom door, ok but right next to entry door, not very private. Flat screen TV, two beds, chair with ottoman, desk area very clean and we had a view... more

Visited Nashville from Wisconsin in April, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Upon check-in the staff was incredibly busy, but very pleasant and friendly. We were very pleased with our King room, very clean and comfortable. We had all we needed in our room, and housekeeping staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed wonderful breakfast buffets, included with our... more

How disappointing! I knew we were in for a bad stay when I couldn't find the hotel. When I called to ask for directions, I was put on hold for 20 minutes and then disconneted. I drove back to the airport and got better directions. When I finally arrived, I was left standing at the desk whle the staff finished... more
