Was a bit concerned due to earlier reports but management appears to started renovations. The "suite" rooms are a sitting area that is separated by a louvered plantation style door from the bedroom room. Attended a convention in Nashville and stayed at the Airport Double Tree on Atrium Way. The room accomodations were wonderful. King sized bed w/ lots of pillows and down comforter. Having stayed in a number of hotels around Nashville, I decided to try the Doubletree out. Overall it is a good hotel,but not as nice as it's sister hotel the Embassy Suites right down the road. The suites were very nice and clean throughout. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Liked having a fridge and microwave in the room. The fridge actually worked! Food at the hotel resturant was really good. The staff was very friendly, southern hospitality to the max! more

We have no complaints about the Doubletree. We loved the bed and having two rooms with 2 seperate tvs. The staff was very friendly and everything was clean. We would stay here again! Perfect location if you do not want to stay right in the middle of downtown. Super close to everything. more
