Well located between Vanderbilt U. and downtown (5-10 min. away). Huge rooms with trendy "Music City" decor- very comfortable and well equipped. Good linens, good toiletries with excellent housekeeping. Friendly and helpful staff with a nice lounge/bar downstairs. We ate in the lounge one night from the limited but good menu and had cocktails every evening while enjoying the entertainment.... more

Visited Vanderbilt with my brothers and got a friends & family rate... The reservation system got the date wrong but the front desk happily fixed the error and gave us a great room... Room was large with a view of downtown. Hotel is strategically located between the downtown nightlife and campus.... Indigo had the best Lounge singer I have ever... more

I was very happy with this Hotel. It was trendy and EXTREMELY CLEAN. I loved the open shower and the hardwood floors. The biggest downside was the price of parking. Self parking in the garage behind the hotel was $19 and valet was $23 I opted for Valet and wished for a bellman but didn't see one. I'm unsure if... more

I put a bid in for this hotel on priceline and got a great deal, but then I started reading the reviews and was wondering what I was in for. I was in town for a family wedding and the hotel just added to the great weekend. We actually had family at other hotels who were having a bad experience... more

The Indigo Hotel was located in the Vanderbilt area but the valet parking left much to be desired. The parking took up the lane on the side of the hotel, so you had to make a u-turn in order to pull in. We thought the parking fees were a bit high ($23.00 for valet per night and $19.00 for self... more

We stayed here overnight 1/23/09. It is a weird looking building, funky with blue and green exterior. Sorta looks like an office building. Parking or where to park remains a problem as other reviews point out. After driving around the hotel several times, looking for where to park, I gave up and found the car-drop off for valet service. While... more

The room was hip and designed well, but if you looked closely you could tell they were constructed poorly. They used Ikea-type furniture and the doors in the room were thin and cheap. I could hear EVERY conversation in the hallway and the rooms next to us. The lack of sound proofing in this hotel made our experience awful. more

We were travelling home to Houston, after spending Christmas in upstate New York. By the time we hit Nashville, we were tired and edgy and ready for a break. We decided on the Indigo, just because the online photos looked kind of cool. Parking, as has been mentioned before, was tough. Our rented van was too big to fit in... more
