I just stayed here this past week for one night. I was in Nashville on a business trip. This place is great! It's in a cute, quiet neighborhood, full of old houses. There is safe off street parking with a locked gate. The house is beautiful inside and SO CLEAN! Cleaner than any hotel. I stayed in the Cozy Room... More

The Big Bungalow is neat and tidy, filled with interesting art, and managed with great precision by Ellen and her staff. The food is excellent, and the service equally good. Rooms are lovely, bordering on luxurious. Location is actually very favorable for anyone wanting a complete Nashville experience and being in a quiet neighborhood is a plus after spending time... Located in the heart of East Nashville, this B&B puts you close to the bustling 5-Points where you can find food, drink and fun. Just a short drive west, across the Cumberland River, puts you in Downtown Nashville with options galore. We stayed in The Grand Suite which has a spacious, charming bedroom/sitting room, and a second smaller bedroom. The... More

Stayed in the suite upstairs and it is quite impressive. Ellen is a charming host and The Big Bungalow overall is clean, neat, warm and friendly. The location is within walking distance of great restaurants but is on a quiet street. It suited my business needs well.

I have stayed at B&B's all over the USA and this one by far had the worst breakfast experience. We were served a piece of ham with two pieces of toast with eggs on top. Something I could have easily have made at home. We expected something a little more creative and delicious. Other then the food issue, we found... More

We stayed overnight in The Grand Suite - a lovely room with a small sitting room attached, and a wonderful big bathroom. Very nice house, lovely breakfast. A short drive (by taxi if you wish) into Nashville itself. Ellen is a very helpful and kind host. Thankyou very much.

Stayed here for a night on a road trip around America. Ellen was very friendly and welcoming and helped us plan our night in Nashville which was a 5 min taxi ride away. The room was very clean and comfy and a nice breakfast the next morning but my only issue with breakfast is there wasn't any choice. Would stay... More

My wife and I enjoyed 3 nights at The Big Bungalow and we concur with all of the positive comments from the review by "Married in Nashville" below (since we enjoyed their company at the same time as our stay.) We have stayed at many B&Bs over the years and The Big Bungalow is in my top 3 experiences. Ellen... More

We just got back from our honeymoon and wedding in Nashville. We stayed with Ellen for 2 weeks, including on and before our wedding day. We originally chose to stay at The Big Bungalow rather than a hotel because we wanted to stay with the locals and find out more about Nashville and the way of life and Ellen didn't... More

Ellen, our B&B Innkeeper, was welcoming and genuinely interested in our comfort. She provided various avenues to us regarding entertainment and food. Her greatest attribute was she cared and provided a complete and delicious breakfast to my Sister, Jo and I, on both mornings of our two day stay. Thanks, Ellen.
