Via priceline got the Best Western Downtown but upon arrival learned that they are now The Capitol and are under renovations. The noise went on till the late hours. Had a huge cockroach in our room. Elevators ceased to work so we had to carry our luggage from the second floor. Everything about the hotel, besides the location (close to... More

Stayed Aug. 31st. First impression is not good. Appeared to be a run down hotel (and right across from the Sheraton). Apparently they're calling it 'renovations'. Get the valet parking as it's the safest. Originally told we were booking the Best Western - and that's what appeared on our confirmation but when we arrived in Nashville, looking for the Best... This hotel has had a name change. I was not notified about that or the renovations. Yes I got the room for a good price but that was back in March this year. Noisy, with people running up & down the outside balcony, traffic noise, room/long balcony facing union st. The bathroom light only came on with the exhaust fan... More

Where do I start? This Hotel has to be the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in, and I am a very frequent traveller having stayed at a number of hotels, motels, B&Bs etc all over the world - this is genuinely the worst! The hotel is currently having work done to it, which we were... More

As hotel was under renovation construction, it tended to be a bit noisy at times.Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable.Continental breakfast was good. When they have finished construction, it will be a nice place to stay at an affordable price. Sayanara in houskeeping was a joy to see every morning

I went with a group of 8 for a friend's birthday to Nashville. This hotel was priced almost half of what any other area hotel was priced. KEEP THAT IN MIND!!!! Yes... there is exterior remodeling and actual construction going on. Never was there construction noise before 10AM or after 5PM. Yes, it is not ideal. However, for free wifi,... More

Booked on Hotwire, $73 a night, so for the money, should I complain? Construction noise and the associated dirt etc. Looks like they are trying to do it on the cheap, so it is not moving very quickly. The room was ok, noisy as we were on the street side, plenty of hot water, in room safe (key though, not... More

First and foremost, the staff was out of this world. They really were probably some of the nicest, most accommodating staff I've encountered in a hotel. Everyone always holds the doors for the guests, says good morning/afternoon and asks how everything is. Now for the hotel itself. I feel it's been under construction for far longer than it should. The... More

My husband and I were going down to meet our friends who had called us the night before when they tried checking in at this place and warned us that it was a dump. They luckily had booked with Expedia and Expedia switched them to a different hotel, we on the other hand had booked with Priceline and Priceline would... More
