After seeing some of the review on here, I was wondering if I had made a bad decision. However, everything was fine. We went to Nashville for a girls' getaway weekend and we were looking for a place to crash--not a place to hang-out. This was perfect--it was within walking distance of the bars on Broadway, Printer's Alley and the... more

Booked this hotel through Hotwire. Advertised as 3 Star, but more like 2 star at best. All outside rooms for $89/night. Noise from both construction around and people staying at hotel-all night! Rooms unclean with pubic hairs in bathtub, dirty, soaked carpet. Restaurant a joke and stale bagels and coffee for complimentary buffet. Do Not stay here! more

My only complaint was the noise from the street and construction. I am not a light sleeper, so once I feel asleep, it was a great night. The staff was competent, offering to store our luggage for the afternoon after we checked out, since our flight wasn't til the evening. They assisted us with the city bus schedule, and gave... more

read the reviews on this hotel and most were true. great location for most attractions. the hotel is very outdated and the walls are paper thin. if you are a light sleeper this place is not for you. people were pounding on doors until all hours of the morning and management did nothing. more

You have to be realistic whenever looking at downtown hotels - you get what you pay for and I was pleased with this. Once in the room, the hotel is fine. Comfy bed, clean, good service, good breakfast. It is a renovated (and still being renovated) old-style motel, so there are external walkways. From a visitor's perspective - someone wishing... more

I had read many reviews, and was skeptical of what we would find. My husband & I have stayed at several hotels in the area before for pleasure (Gaylord Opryland, Courtyard Marriott, Millenium Maxwell House, Lowe's Vanderbilt), so we have several to compare. All of the others were considerably more expensive. This time we needed a hotel close to the... more

We stayed at this hotel in October 2008. They have begun constructing a building across the street. The construction workers work ALL NIGHT. The hotel staff said that they are working on a government building and if the construction is completed on time or earlier, the construction company will receive a bonus. The result is noise all night long. Trucks... more

Downtown Nashville Hotels in general are a little pricey however this hotel was on par with a Red roof or Similar budget hotel were you might expect to pay $50 a night not the $150 I paid. Location was fairly good but I would not use again. Pay the extra for a good hotel or get one a little further... more

We decided to stay in town for an extra night to enjoy wonderful Nashville! Needed to do laundry for the evening, the hotel did have a guest landry however I was told that I must go out and get laundry soap, they had none available for purchase. Room was very out dated and not as clean as it needed to... more

I had the opportunity to join my significant other on a week long convention that he was attending. His company had made arrangements for his group to stay at the Renaissance Hotel Downtown. ( he was on work time and had a roommate so I was unable to share the room with him) When I was looking for a place... more
