It would be nice to stay there again but they price most people out come Vanderbilt Football games. I happen to stay there one time because it was a Thursday night game and I caught the reservation before the auto jacked the prices up. Mostly because it was just announced to be a Thursday night game instead of Saturday and... More

We were very shocked by the $35 a day parking fee. I would have thought if you stayed at the hotel as a guest it would have been included. Also they have a shuttle bus to take you back and forth to downtown, we took the shuttle downtown and the shuttle driver gave us his card and told us to... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend for our three year anniversary, and let me say, the parking price is outrageous. For everyone who stays here: PARK IN THE HOLIDAY INN PARKING LOT! We left our car there every night and it is right next to the hotel. They don't check! We knew of the price before we booked, but glad... More

I have never stayed at a hotel that charges so much for parking ($35 valet, $30 self park). Not even in NYC. This alone will keep me from returning to this hotel. I booked this place on Priceline for $162 which is a little bit of a discount from $199. However, with the cost of parking I could have stayed... More

I'm currently staying here -- checking out tomorrow morning. It's a perfectly nice chain hotel, attractive, clean, comfortable beds. But as other reviews have said, the service is terribly unfriendly and the hotel policies nickel and dime you to death on things like internet, parking, and transportation. First of all, this isn't a downtown hotel. You can't walk to any... More

I stayed one night and arrive late, but was quickly greeted by the valet who took my car ($35 to valet, $30 to self-park), and received the sweetest welcome from the lady at the desk (who was actually from upstate NY, not the south), who was pleasant and quickly got me checked in while covering all I needed to know... After a terrible Marriott experience in Montreal, I needed a reassuring stay that Marriott was still the best go-to choice with the most locations around the world. This one is proof. Not a resort hotel but then that's not why I'm here. Good, reliable, prifessional staff and you're half way there. All you expect from a Marriott comes together at... More

Stayed her 2 nights (mostly business) then moved to the Courtyard Marriot down the street (for leisure). The good points of both these hotels are a friendly staff and courtesy shuttles available on a first-come first serve basis transporting within a 2-3 mile radius which includes the downtown district. The advantages of the Courtyard are the free Wi-Fi versus $10... More

Great hotel on the athletics end of Vanderbilt campus. Walk easily to all the athletic fields and the rest of campus. Don't bother renting a car. Parking is ridiculously expensive ($30/night self park and $35 valet) and I hear that the shuttle from the airport is inexpensive. Also, you pay to park everywhere in Nashville. Once you've arrived, the Marriott runs... More

I stayed here for two nights recently. First time to this Marriott location. Stayed here with some business colleagues. Like others I agree that the location is great. PROS: Extremely welcoming and friendly staff. Great valet staff too, extremely polite, helped with directions and had the a.c going (it was in the upper 90's the days I was there). Nice... More
