With business bringing me to the West End area of Nashville frequently, I have had a lot of experience with this hotel, at which I have stayed many times. (I've also stayed at other properties in the area.) The hotel has had some problems of late. Two visits ago, I had a late-night arrival and an absolutely atrocious experience at... More

Stayed here one night on a college tour trip. Great location near to Vanderbilt, simply walk out the door. Staff very friendly, quick prompt service. Great room, very clean. If I stopped there I would give it 5 stars. However of the 5 places we stayed on our tour only one charged for WiFi.... this one. Absolutely unacceptable in this... More

Clean, comfortable, hotel needs updating but it is sufficient. No parking really than the $35 valet. Good hike downtown, but nice restaurants are within closer walking distance. Nice staff. We had a nice view of the Parthenon from our window as well as the McDonalds Golden Arches. Not quite Greece!

The service was great. The food was very good though I would avoid the "flatbread" because it is extremely doughy and not at all flat but the sweet potato fried were amazing. The lobby is very nice and elevators open right up into the dining area. The rooms are old and look it. The hallway to the room was humid... More

I wanted to rate this 3 1/2 stars but, there isn't a way to. The hotel entry, bar, and in house Starbucks were all nice and decorated well. I didnt see the pool or gym area. The valet employees were nice but, it is very costly. The staff were all very professional overall. I had to stay for business and this... More

My husband and I were on a weekend getaway for his birthday. The hotel staff made it more special after catching wind of his special occasion. They left us a treat and birthday wishes in the room. We had a nightcap at the bar after returning from dinner. Vibe and atmosphere were good. Hotel shuttle took us to Broadway and... More

I had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott Vanderbilt midweek. The staff is really courteous, everyone smiles, ready to chat, and are helpful when seeking information. The rooms are a bit dated, however, if you're lucky enough to have a view of the stadium, the room is worth every penny. Granted, I'm a fan of the gridiron. If your... More

I cannot really say anything bad about the hotel specifically...however, the room rate was ridiculous. The hotel staff was friendly, the room was adequate, the restaurant staff was below average...but $366/night in Nashville, TN is absurd! This is a $150/night hotel at best...and to charge me an additional $30/night for "self-parking" was adding insult to injury. Sorry Marriott, I like... More

Stayed here with my family for Vanderbilt move-in weekend. Fri/Sat nights were really expensive ($300+) and rates don't include $30 self park fee. Main floor is immaculate, service was incredible - housekeeping was polite, front desk staff was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, even the staff at breakfast was super helpful and friendly. Really can't say enough about the service.... More

Agree with previous reviewers regarding the clunk of the the cooling system and some other mystery sounds. In addition, room is dated and does not feel fresh. The topper of it all is that there was no housekeeping services at all one day and had to fetch towels and a few supplies form the from the front desk after waiting... More
