I rely on TripAdvisor to plan most of my travel & felt it necessary to warn other travelers about this place. Hopefully someone will buy it and rehab it, (the giant sign out front is pretty cool) but most likely it will be razed.

I am personally sorry for your unpleasant experience in Nashville during the CMA Fest. I was born and raised in the Nashville area, and CMA fest brings out a lot of wild late nights in the city. Our accommodations are right on the edge of the city, which means we stay busy constantly, but when CMA comes we have lines... More

Disgusting, and disgusting!!!! The bathroom room sinks were falling off the walls with tape covering the cracks, the swimming pool was filled with trash( there were children staying there, the Codes Department should be called) very unsanitary place to stay.I was given 7 parts of keys to look and each room was worse than before!!!. After much research, I found a... More

This place is disgusting! The rooms were so filthy and the carpet so dirty that i just stood in the door because the bottom of my shoes were cleaner than the carpet. Pigeons were flying over my head with pigeon poop all over the walk way. There were also 3 white thugs standing in breeze way smoking weed. We immediately... More

Nasty, dirty, bedbugs, smells like 30 years of stale cigarette smoke, very unsafe area with prostitutes, drug dealers & thieves just waiting for you to leave your car. The door and wall had holes from them being punched. One of the beds was broke. We complained and were told they have a "strict no refund policy" TERRIBLE HOTEL. The 5... More

Ok, its a dump!!!!!!! Crackheads, hookers, drugs, dirty needles in the parking lot, gang bangers, pimps, used condoms in the pool area, and that's all before you see the so called room. The rooms are horrible, dirty, smell like death, and have blood stains all over the floor. The tub had standing black water in it and the toilet ran... More

My boyfriend and I were moving across the country, and we tried to find reasonably priced rooms in every city along the way. I guess it's partially my fault that I didn't do more research on the area of town since my GPS does not offer "ghetto" as an avoidance. However, my 5 minute experience at the Hallmark Inn was... Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hallmark Inn was built in 1979 as one of the first hotel/motels in the outlying area of Nashville. After years of providing transient services to tourist, the area took a turn, with the residents of North Nashville needing STA, short term accommodations. Hallmark is family owned and operated, and took the needs of the people into consideration and the past year gone under a serious renovation project. Slowly, but surely, Hallmark Inn is bringing back the days of community and warm Southern hospitality to the North Nashville area. The Hallmark is the only hotel/motel that we know of within any good distance that is flexible with rates, availability, and tailoring a parties stay to fit their needs. Having 130 units staying 90 percent occupied at any time of the year speaks volumes to the level of trust and growth Hallmark is creating within the community. Family activities have gone underway, Hallmark community group meets every Sunday just to name a couple of community activities we have planned here. Rooms have been updated to the 21st century, free wireless internet, state of the art security camera system (32 cameras), security on site, office open 24 hours, maid service daily, mic/fridge in every room, maintenance on-site 24 hrs.,and more upgrades are coming soon. We offer the best weekly/monthly rates in the Metropolitan area and are striving to provide the most comfortable, hospitable stay no matter what your housing needs are. ... more   less
