Look, there are some harsh critics on here.. We just returned from the Preston and our stay was just fine.. The rooms and entire hotel has been refaced (not gutted and remodeled) and it's quite funky and different really. The rooms weren't immaculate but they didn't smell at all like some reviews suggest, and they were comfortable and roomy... Most... More

I was in Nashville to visit some friends and was looking for a hotel close to downtown and at a good value. The Hotel Preston was a great value for what I was looking. When we pulled up to the outside of the hotel it looked a bit older and lacked curb appeal. The rooms were nice sized, however, the... More

I went to priceline and bid $45 / night for a 3 1/2 star hotel in Nashville. Ta Da!!! I get the Hotel Preston?? Seriously?? This is why I hate Priceline so much because they are methods are deceptive. You may not even see a hotel listed on their webpage, but when you book the trip, there you go, Hotel... More

We stayed in a few hotels over a couple of weeks. This hotel was very unique. We laughed because we literally had to jump to get onto the beds becasue the mattresses were so nice! The decor in the rooms made you feel like you were royalty. It is worth the trip just to see the artwork in the room... More

This place has gone through some major upgrades. We were just there in September and were very impressed. They have really plushed up the looks of the rooms, everything was tip top perfect. The lobby area and reception looks as though its a 5 star Hotel. It is very close to the Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills Mall and... More

Laying in bed now as I am typing this review....really uncomfortable! Stayed here a year ago and was not pleased, because they put me on the "pet floor" , yeah that's right have you ever heard of a 3 1/2 star hotel allowing pets? They put me there because I booked through Priceline. The Elevator stunk really bad, the hall... More

Dear Guest, I am sorry that our hotel does not meet your expectations. We try our best to make sure that everyone has an enjoyable stay and wants to come back. Most of the 3 1/2 star hotels in the airport area do allow pets. We appriciate your comments. Thank you for your feedback. Sincerely, Monique Facilities Manager More

Oh my, where do I begin.... The "You want it, you got it" phrase they tout in the rooms is appropriate only if you want mediocre to bad service....then you've definitely got it. I've never had SO many bad incidences occur in one hotel, too much to write. However, I will say that our waiter reeked of pot smoke, the... More

The bar tenders were flat out rude. They were not very busy for a Saturday night and getting another drink was a chore. We had to inturrupt them from leaning on the bar with their arms folded or while texting on their phones. I gave one my order and he told me, and I quote "I will have to get... More

I stayed here back in 2008 when the first began their remodel. We ended up getting the same Nov 2011 by chance and I was in complete amazement that the remodel is still going on. I was hopeful until I opened the door to my room and it was dumpy. Maybe they just gave me the "ugly" room because I... More

This property is definitely different. The decor is pretty funky, which did not bother me although I would not want it in my own home, however, my spouse really couldn't get past the funkiness. Front desk staff was very friendly and polite. My room was clean and comfortable, however, it was too dark - needed more light - maybe I... More
