This was my first (and likely last) stay at Hotel Preston. Based on their website, location, and other user reviews, I had pretty high expectations. In summary, these expectations were not met, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Positives - The staff working the night of 5/22/13 were very friendly, and the lobby was nicely decorated and... More

We booked this hotel to attend a graduation this weekend. I wanted the family to stay at the same hotel and prices around Nashville were higher due to "Graduation" weekend. We picked this hotel due to it's proximity to everything. When you walk in the lobby you think that you are in a nice boutique style hotel......it's a little dark... More

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate all kinds of feedback— both positive and negative— because it lets us know what we're doing right and also what we can do better. Quick Summary: the hotel upkeep is a failure for 3*. If you just need a place to stay; it's "fine" (I guess). If you want a "nice to average" stay, choose elsewhere. HP can be great, but today, it isn't. $100 is TOO much, for $20 more, you can get 2-3x the experience. For $30 LESS, you can get BETTER...... More

For some reason, hotels near BNA are unbelievably expensive. That being said, take my word for it and pay the extra money to stay at one of the upscale national chains. I ended up at Hotel Preston through Priceline - and Priceline is going to hear from me. I "named my price" for a 3-1/2 star hotel and got this... More

It feels like a defunct old airport hotel that was given a fresh coat of (very colorful) paint (though not terribly recently) and turned into an independent hotel. The place has style, or something very similar to it; its just starting to get a little run down. All said tough, its a cheap alternative with a little more flavor than... More

Clean room, modern decor, well priced. The front desk was courteous, friendly, and accommodating. I liked the overall vibe of the place and it was nice to stay in a place that had its own personality instead of being cookie cutter bland...I especially loved the elevators! You'll have to stay there to see what I mean!

Everyone was very nice and accommodating, especially the staff at the front desk.. I really enjoyed the vibe of the hotel - kind of retro/art deco/modern with some zany touches (red cowhide elevator walls??). It was fun, unique, and upbeat. Black and white photograph portraits of musicians on the walls were really interesting. I don't know who the photographer was,... More

The hotel is not close to restaurants and the one in the hotel is quite bad. Poor quality in fact and the food was covered I mean smothered with seasoning salt. I couldn't even eat it. Next, it smells like pets stay there and like people must smoke inside at times. The fitness room smells quite bad and is super... More

I had a wonderful time. Our room was clean and comfortable. They even provided organic coffee in the room. :) Every request we had was honored without question. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. Plus, the convenience and shuttle to airport meant I could sleep in rather than getting up early to drop my husband off at the airport.!... More

I was pleasantly suprised how quiet the room was with an airport runway right accross the street. We really didn't notice it much at all. Our room was right accross from the elevator, which made me nervous, but we never hear it during our stay. We were very happy about that! Loved that they offered a fish for your room.... More
