My boyfriend reserved a room for us at this hotel since he was coming home from a 28 day work trip in China. I heard great reviews about this hotel and told him we should stay here. I work in the hospitality arena myself and was quite shocked to see the room we got for what rate he paid. It... more

am very sorry for the person who DID. Despite the renovation being done, the hotel is still not all that great (especially not for the rates charged). The decor is "meh", the room set up is "meh". The bed and pillows were good, linens were "meh". The elevators and hallways stink of smoke, even on the non-smoking floors. And I... more

Dear Desespoir, Thank you for your review. Our interior decorator won an In Award for our hotel from the International Interior Design Association so I am glad you enjoyed our décor as well as the Preston Bed! Our key required elevator access is to ensure guest safety; in a place as great as Nashville, we do have a few famous...

Hotel does not accommodate early check-in. Rooms are extremely loud from aircraft noise (directly underneath flight path at 400 feet), also, when noise abatement takes effect. of an evening, there is still no let up from the noise - as all room doors are poorly designed, resulting in reverberating slamming sounds throughout the night. No enforcement of noise policies, hallways... more

Dear PBRD, Thank you for your review. The hotel takes requests for early check-in, and we are always glad to check our guests in when the room is ready no matter how early they arrive. We do everything possible to ensure our guests are comfortable and if there are any concerns about noise, we address them within the parameters of...

The Hotel Preston was a pleasant surprise. While the furniture needed updating the beds were very comfortable. The location was great, close to many attractions! more

When we got there they were unloading our car and taking up luggage. We talked to them about why we were they and for how long. Nolan came back with a handwritten itinery of things we needed to do and could do in our alloted time there. Everything from restaurants to history was included. We loved it and would post... more

We chose the Hotel Preston for our 10th wedding anniversary. It was perfect! Awesome staff, cool atmosphere. Walked into our huge, clean, gorgeous room, and the radio/clock was playing soft music. Fantastic! Air was already on and waiting on us. Perfect! We came back from dinner, and the lounge was open with the live band playing, and it was great!... more

By Todd, 12/28/08 Where to start:reservation was wrong, assured a room overlooking the city, had to wait 1/2 hour for our room, given a poor room overlooking the ac units. There was a dog barking all night and must have urinated because the hallway stunk.Get It Now????Hardly, half the items not available and if they were, sooo overpriced it was ridiculous. They charge for EVERYTHING that... more

Dear tddherring 1, Thank you for you review. We designate the 2nd floor as out hotel’s smoking floor and we are a pet friendly hotel, making us unique among hotels that have chosen to eliminate either one or both options to guests. We also offer complimentary internet access to guests in our business center and wifi for a reasonable, competitive...

This boutique hotel is a quirky sort of cool. Nice lighting, modern sculptures in the lobby. We liked our room, too, which was upscale-looking and featured pics of Nashville's well-known celebs. The outdoor pool was nice for families and the restaurant was OK. (Some dishes were good and some were just OK). We found the staff to be universally friendly... more

My husband and I stayed at The Preston for our vacation in Nashville. The hotel itself is a little older but in great condition. It is very unique and sexy with lots of red and beautiful art work. I have never had a friendlier or more helpful staff. The maintaince man Carrie helped us with our luggage because there was... more

Since we were just passing through Nashville and needed an inexpensive one-night stay, the Hotel Preston fit the bill. We booked through Priceline and got a very good deal. The hotel was nice enough. Very interesting lobby. We arrived late but had called in advance about this. Staff at both check-in and check-out were very friendly and accomodating. The rooms... more
