When I booked this hotel the pictures were good. But this was the nasty trashy place I stayed. We stayed one night and left. So don't be fooled by the pictures. The mattress was all torn up. The AC unit was dirty. Someone off the street tried to get in our room. It's a no go for me ever again.

This place was the low point on a cross county trip. It felt unclean, the furniture beaten, the papers were thin and rough, the bed stood on a home made plywood frame, there was a travel magazine on what to do in Nashville in the room with the pages all crumpled and water damaged. It had the old fashioned big... More

Passing through Nashville and wanted an inexpensive overnight stay to enjoy some local music. I like a couple of the bars in the Opryland area for their musical lineups. But most hotels in that area are overpriced. Decided to try the Fiddler Inn. The $75/nt rate made me skeptical on what I'd get. Glad I tried it. Clean, comfortable, ample... More

It's a cheap hotel near the Opryland resort and close to other bars and music which is its only benefit. You will get what you pay for here. The room we stayed in for 3 days was beyond disgusting. Mold all over the shower, stains on all the walls, lots of crusty dirt in the corners, stains on the mattress.... More

Room wasn't dirty but worn out. Stains everywhere. Carpet ripped by the door. Mold on the shower curtain and corner of the shower. Breakfast offered was pretty minimal. Our room was 110. The door was pretty beat up from being pried on numerous times. Doesn't make you feel very safe. Staff was not friendly at check in but very friendly... More

We've been staying here for years when we come to town for an annual convention at Gaylord Opryland. It's always been obvious that Fiddler's Inn has been around for a while, but it seemed like it was really showing its age on this past trip. The room was a little more run down (but still plenty clean and comfortable and... More

Stayed for 1 night. The room smelled like smoke. The bar right by the hotel is called Roberts Nashville Palace and it is a blast! Great live music and happy hour. We like this hotel because of the proximity (Walking distance) to the Grand Ole Opry, and Opryland. Wouldnt want to make a vacation out of this place, but for... More

Stayed one night with my wife and two kids. We picked this hotel due to the proximity to the Opryland Hotel convention center but that was the only positive. The fire detector low battery alert was chirping every few 30 seconds so we had to wait for the maintenance man. A large section of wallpaper was separated from the wall... More

It is so far, the worst place I have stayed. It is creepy!!! I felt like I was on a horror movie, the place stinks, it is darker, the rooms are smelly, beds are not comfortable. The only good thing I found there was the hot water on the shower. Stay away of this hotel.

I have been to a lot of Hotels and know which ones to frequent and which ones to stay away from. I find myself doing a Ben Franklin review (basically two columns labeled GOOD and BAD) This hotel/ Inn had more GOOD than BAD!! If you want a luxurious hotel than simply book at the Ritz Carlton or Hilton. If... More
