The Doubletree has an excellent location for visiting the State Capitol and Legislative Plaza. The room was very nice although for $179 you are really paying for location and not great room amenities. I enjoyed my stay very much. Valet parking adds a bit to the bill and it is the only option, but they are very expedient. Hotel looks brand new and is kept very clean. Desk staff is average, and could stand to have a better knowledge of the area. more

We stayed two nights here on a tour of the south. The hotel is in a good position to see the sights of Nashville. There is a courtesy bus that takes you downtown. Make sure you eat in Dino's ! The room was excellent. Clean, great bed, hot shower, very good service, and friendly bar. more
