The Gaylord Opryland Hotel is a beautiful, large hotel. As others mentioned, it is somewhat confusing to get around. You can get turned around very easily but at least it is beautiful and you see something different. The conference center was plenty big enough. The prices in both the restaurants & bars were very high. It was disappointing that even... More

Stayed here for the Agile 2013 conference. Amazing place, great service, friendly, helpful staff, good food, everything laid on and slick. The bars and restaurants are all good, they coped with the 1785 people from our conference, and had another two big events going on at the same time. Fascinating to spend a week in what is effectively a biodome... More

Very nice hotel but it's huge. Great for a convention but I can't recommend it for a vacation. You spend the first 24 hours getting lost. The signage is good but wear your walking shoes. The restaurants & bars are very expensive. The drinks are small & mostly ice.

We stayed here for a national convention for my husband's work and this resort is HUGE! It was difficult to navigate around the hotel because there were so many different corridors and elevators and if you took the wrong elevator, you could get completely lost. They have signage up, but it was still hard to navigate. We checked in at... More

Stayed here for a conference for business. Fortunately we had our room near the check in desk so the walk wasn't terrible. Very easy to get lost in here and we never did make it around the entire hotel. Found where we needed to be and that was about it. Costs were negotiated because of us being with the company,... Was here recently for a business conference. The facilities are massive, some 40+ acres as I understand it that sprawls across three main sections. The conference facilities are what you would expect. Woe to those that check in at Cascade and head to Magnolia. You cross the entire facility from south to north. With bags and luggage it wasn't the... More

The Gaylord Opryland is an amazing hotel to stay at. Beautiful and grand. Huge though. It is easy to get lost in this resort. The place is not layed out well. The complimentary transportation is a great touch, but you need more buses, especially when you have a convention. The food was good but very expensive.

My family stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Resort for one night in August and it was nothing short of amazing. I wish we could have stayed much longer! Once arriving, the entry is grand and spectacular. There are two choices for parking, vallet or self-parking. We did the self parking and it was almost like a maze to find out... More

Our first visit to Nashville will be remembered for the fun time visiting the Grand Ole Opry and the convenient location at the Gaylord. The Gaylord is not inexpensive, but it is not outrageously high. It is a touristy place to stay with several restaurants and beautiful gardens. You can get lost at first, but there are plenty of maps... More
