I can't criticise the cleanliness or comfort of the rooms here it's just that the whole place is very odd indeed. Acres of indoor water features with boats on that people take guided tours on - honest! A guided tour of something utterly man made and false, couldn't believe it. The restaurants and generally OK but busy and with poor... More

It's 10:50pm and I am starving. Checked into the Gaylord Opryland Resort yesterday. Despite being Abu Marriott Gold EliteMember, I was not given any consideration other than comp access to the fitness center. Worse yet, all the restaurants in the hotel shutdown at 10pm. The shops close at 7pm. You can't even get bar food at any of the lounges... More

This was my 2nd time staying at Opryland Hotel since the flood a couple of years ago. Everything was beautiful as usual. Really enjoyed our stay there. We went to the Grand Ol Opry which is right next door. Walked out the back got on the shuttle bus and was there in 2 minutes. I will be going back again.

Having stayed at the Gaylord a few times before we thought we'd try it again for a couple of nights and are debating if its worth going to again. Reservations were easy but checkin is a nightmare waiting forever in an unending line while only two people were working with space for many more. After getting the atrium room which... More

Our room was not ready on checkin or for that matter 3 hrs later. We actually ended up downgrading our room just to get checked in to shower before concert reservations. Thought that may just have been our luck but today's lobby at check in rivaled a Delta counter in Atl. Once in the hotel it is overwhelmingly beautiful and... More

A bit tardy on this review from a late March 2014 spring break, one-nighter at Opryland. We've been here before, but not overnight. This resort and convention center is best experienced with a convention cohort vs. as a couple or family. During our stay, we bumped into members from more than a dozen groups staying at Opryland. Wow. We love... More

Very impressive resort. We just went there for lunch and to view the spectacular place. My husband loved it, but me I liked staying downtown, because I loved Broadway St. Loved my Honky Tonk Bars...Beware just to visit for at least an hour you will pay $21.00...

The hotel staff including the bell desk, valet, concierge, check in desk, were polite and professional. However, check-in lines and wait times were long, some people waiting almost two hours in line. In a hotel this huge that hosts massive conferences and conventions I don't know if this can be avoided. Hotel is so huge and spread out you will... More

We had booked this hotel almost a year before we arrived. My sister had called and confirmed that our rooms were connecting and that we had exactly what we needed. Upon arrival we were told it was impossible to have a king size bed that there were 0 left in the entire hotel which is completely ridiculous when you see... More

We were there for a convention with over 500 coworkers. The grounds are beautiful! Well groomed, plush and gorgeous! The walking paths are epic. The service was good from the valet to the front desk to the wait staff. People were friendly and helpful--which they had to be because the layout of the hotel from the rooms to the convention...
