This hotel is huge! It has a "theme" to it, sort of like a Disney World Resort. The conference center is right at the hotel. There are many gardens, restaurants / bars and even a night club on site. I stayed at the Gaylord Opryland for one week as a work Convention was taking place there. The only word I can use to describe the hotel is 'odd'. Stayed for a week-log conference. The rooms are nice- but could be better arranged. The hotel itself is an enclosed massively sprawling monstrosity that evoked Vegas without gambling and Disneyworld without fun. A beautiful facility with great rooms. Crazy huge place. It takes at least a day to figure out how to navigate the place. Wear comfy shoes if you are there for a convention! Overall, great service from the staff, great place in general. more
