Welcomed by friendly Ron on arrival and shown around by the lovely Jan. They were having white ant issues with their lovely old house. Really felt for them. We stayed in the cosy one bedroom cottage with a warm wood burner. Nice breakfast for the two of us was included in the package. Leafield Cottages was the ideal spot being... More

Like an earlier reviewer who visited Leafield in winter, we stayed in the largest of the three cottages, Rose Cottage. The small wood-burning stove struggled in the large space of the living room, and the bathroom was cold, but we had requested the two bedroom cottage, so did not mind too much. When we arrived the fire had been lit and... More

We have stayed at many bed and breakfasts, and the one thing we always find is that you get a sense of being very welcome and like the whole aim is for you to be happy, comfortable and relaxed. Before we even got to the place we were wondering if we had made the right choice. During the morning we... More

Upon arriving at Leafield Cottages we were extremely pleased at how lovely our cottage was. The room was well presented and we were provided with bread, croissants, cereal and fresh milk to have for breakfast, as well as a large box of wood to use in our fire. The place was clean and cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable.... More

Thank-you Jan & Ron for the most amazing stay at Leafield Cottage's. You both are very friendly and run a very great and inviting B&B. We stayed in a Hanaby cottage which is facing the main road but unless your outside you cant hear the traffic on the main road and when the light comes through the lead light it... More

I could not have chosen a better place to stay. Leafield Cottages was highly recommended to me and did not dissapoint, beautiful cottage, so clean, cozy I could not ask for more. Loved all the personal touches. Jan and Ron made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, most helpful and informative. Great location, loved the gardens and I... More

We recently stayed in one of the smaller cottages and through a mixup thought we had booked for three, but somehow had booked for just two. That was our fault entirely, but the $50 additional fee (paid in cash) was extremely steep given that it seemed to amount to little more than a fine from the owner rather than any... More

We stayed as part of a honeymoon present, and to be honest we received a very different response than many of the other reviews have suggested. We rang to confirm our booking the day before arriving, to which the owners husband couldn't find our booking as he couldn't find the diary, but assured it woud be ok. He also said... More

We thank the guest for taking the time to review their stay at Leafield Cottages. We are sorry that they felt their stay here was not expected. We treat all of our guests with courtesy and respect and do not understand why they felt they were not afforded the same. I remember the phone call the day prior to guests... More

Stayed 2 nights at Sage Cottage while touring around the wineries and attractions of the Yarra Valley. Prior to booking we found our emails/queries responded to quickly and clearly and after booking, instructions were clear and we were sent information about local attractions and directions. On arrival we were welcomed and shown the most delightful, clean and tastefully decorated cottage... More

Having lived in the Yarra Valley for almost 40 years we often take for granted the natural beauty of this wonderful region and the vast array of exceptional wineries that bring visitors from far and wide. There is however one thing that we never tire of and that is the response we receive from visitors who are experiencing everything that... More
