We stayed in the 2brm family room. Very convenient for my husband and I because we have a newborn baby. The room was very clean and well presented. Our welcoming was very friendly and helpful. The motel is set in the lush Yarra Valley. It is within walking distance of the Yarra River and the main stretch of Warburton. If... More

Stayed here for two nights, and wish I hadnt. Took my family here for a two night adventure. first night, light in kids room fell, hitting one on the head (charged $50 extra to replace, even though they are cheap, and badly fitted lights that are easily knocked by just moving the pillow) Couch was enough to fit two out... Stayed there one night and were not impressed by the Lack of customer service, minimal information given and No Breakfast offered (even thou they advertise its availability ! ) We were ONLY customers there and yet wouldn't offer an upgrade !....they then charge extra $10 for remote that was already damaged ! Pathetic and Never again will we give them patronage... More

A nice quiet motel, nothing flash but does the job if only staying a night or two. Rooms not large, but if there are only two of you there okay. Tea and coffee and toaster provided, and small table and chairs in room. If upstairs you can sit out the back on balcony and admire the lovely gardens and just... More

Although dated and a tad ordinary, not a bad place to stay. We were a group of 8 staying in various rooms & had the family unit @ $160 which consisted of a master bedroom with door to shared balcony and a 2nd bedroom with 3 single beds - 2 with wall-mounted bed lamps and 1 bedside table between; no... This motel is almost OK. It's constrained by being old, but it has been well-maintained. You can see that it has got a few problems. For example the metal balustrades for the top floor definitely would not pass any of today's building codes. Young kids could easily get through them. They're also lower than you would expect these days. One... More

Made a quick getaway on a Saturday with a couple friends in between two weeks of work in Australia. Of course we discovered the Yarra Valley area is very popular on weekends and many places require a minimum of 2 nights on weekends so we got a bit further out of the wine region than we had planned. Thus we... More

All I needed was somewhere to rest my head for one night, and to also carry out my ablutions. The Warburton Motel satisfied these needs admirably. The motel looks old and tired, but it was clean and contained everything we needed for a comfortable night. If you need good, plain, clean, comfortable accommodation, then this motel is the one for... More

Far from new but everything worked and it was clean and bright. Lovely surrounding gardens with tree ferns, tall trees and a very friendly cat. At Reception, Franz was funny and very helpful regarding local attractions and how to find them. The only minus was the provision of postage stamp-sized toilet tissues! Comfortable and we would stay there again.

Most of our family stayed in cabins at the Warburton Caravan Park. This was not our style but just across the road is the Warburton Motel hidden away in the trees on the hillside. We had an upstairs room with great views across the valley. The room also had a door to the back balcony with a view of the... More
