My daughter booked 1 nights stay here as we had decided to stay in Sorrento at the last minute and just wanted a basic, budget priced room. When we booked by phone the staff member was very friendly and helpful and we found all staff the same throughout our stay. We were allowed to use our room over an hour... More

As a middle aged couple, we chose an upstairs room with an ensuite and were happy with our two-night stay over the Easter holiday. We slept well, breakfast was light but adequate, the room was clean and had a TV and bar fridge with tea and coffee-making facilities, clothes hangers on the wall but no cupboards. There was the odd... More

Worst stay ever, sooooo loud with shared toilets . Every cough - step and word you can hear echo through out . Not a place for a quiet getaway . Breakfast was fine just freezing cold . Should turn it into a museum not a place of business

No air in the rooms, stifling, you can hear every step, breath, noise, door and tap as the walls and doors are paper thin. Beds fine, breakfast fine. Shared toilets and showers cleaned only once a day so bins and towels are piled sky high, toilets are a disgrace. Need to clean them more. More of a backpacker hostel than... More

Average, average! Breakfast was supposed to be served at 8:00am, it was more like 8:40, despite the fact that we had plans for the day. Staff were so negative and unfriendly. my husband said hello to one of them and her response was a deadpan 'hi'. No I'm sorry for the late breakfast or such. The shared bathrooms were diabolical... After researching hotels online we came up with a classic! The ensuite room was spacious and had a good view out to the trees. Close to Sorrento back beach and a 10 minute jaunt into town. We managed a peaceful sleep in this quirky guesthouse. Great breakfast with plenty of options. The only quip's are that we had to ask... More

Well ,where do I start .From the outside we thought it would be fantastic ,paid the extra $130 for an ensuite to our room ,the room and ensuite were no worries but I guess listening to the floorboards creek outside our room the windows rattle Made sleeping fairly hard but the icing on the cake was the guy who starting... We love staying at the Whitehall and can't recommend it highly enough. We've been regular visitors for the past year and plan to go back as often as we can. It's a beautiful place with charm, character and a great history. We love relaxing on the wonderful balcony watching the sun go down over Sorrento, listening to the waves crash... More

Just stayed at the Whitehall guesthouse. The room was simple as expected but did not even have a tele. Room was freezing, could not get the heater to work either. The bed was terrible - like a rock, I have slept on more comfortable beds in a hostel. The walls are also not sound proof. You can hear everything! People... More
