We have just returned from 4 days staying at Rodondo in the self contained Boat Shed. Rodondo is the pick of the bunch when it comes to accommodation in this very quiet, little town. Quirky and cute, but very clean, light and airy, with a view of the park opposite and the foreshore. We loved it. Susan is a great... More

What a find! I meandered into this wonderfully quaint fishing village, not intending to spend an hour, let alone stay, and happened upon Rodondo B&B. I was offered an amazing array of accommodation options from cabins through to spacious luxury bedrooms with warm floors to wriggle my toes on. The owner / operator has style and an obvious eye for... More

We went away for a week end and just wanted somewhere to stay for the night, we booked Uncle Bucks Cabin. We found it very good accommodation, clean with a great kitchen in the cabin. Shower cubicle is a little on the small side but that's not a complaint! Susan is a great host and the breakfast for $10 per... More

This is a lovely lodge with several bedrooms. We had a spacious double bed room and our friends were next door. The rooms were decorated in pastel colours. Very easy on the eyes and the couch can double up as a third bed. The hot breakfast cooked by the friendly owner Suzanne consisted of eggs, toast, bacon and tomato. Other... More

We just happened upon this little bed and breakfast a few years ago on our way down to the great ocean road. It was very clean ,neat friendly and I especially remember the big white fluffy towels in the gorgeous bathroom. I wasn't going to have breakfast but when I saw the delicious assortment of home-made delicacies I couldn't resist.... More

B&B's are always unpredictable. They aren't sterile motels they are idiosyncratic which makes them an interesting experience. Rodondo is no exception. Yes, it is dog friendly. Yes the owner is chatty - but in a nice way (I mean we are staying in her home!). The accommodation in the main residence is very nice and good value. The motels in... More

I stayed in Uncle Buck's cottage which was really quaint with an eclectic mix of decor. At a cost of $95 a night, it was great value for money. Susan, the owner, was very accommodating and although the cottage was next to the laundry, this wasn't an issue as the usage was minimal and negotiable. Very relaxing place to stay... More

Stayed in Uncle Buck’s cabin. Some have said it is cozy! It is small!! And although the photos tend to indicate they are separate cabins, it shares a common thin timber wall (s?) with the next cabin. Privacy and noise concerns. Be aware it also shares a wall with the complex’s laundry! Very cramped toilet and bathroom. Very small basin.... More

Hi pakdaz, and thank you for your comments. Firstly, we aim to please! Any concerns that are brought to my attention will be addressed, asap. Uncle Buck’s Cabin is the smallest of our accommodation, as well as the cheapest. I would have happily upgraded you, either when you arrived, or at any time during your stay, had you advised me... This place is so well looked after and it shows. We stayed in a room inside the main house and it has all the charm of an old Victorian House. The hallway has many antiques to look at and some for sale, as well as other handmade goods for sale, which makes it interesting to look around. The whole place... More
