Port Albert was the first stop on our trip with a family of 5. We stayed in The Fishermans cottage which was the perfect size for us. It was clean, bright and comfortable. We had a great view from the front of the cottage with a park over the road. The kids loved it and the local fish and chips... More

We stayed in one of the sail loft rooms which was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The owner was very amiable and a good host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Mid week out of season Port Albert is very quiet which suited us although eating options can be a bit limited.

Taking a side trip to Port Albert turned out to be an Australian highlight in a three week trip here and the reason is Rodondo. We are on a seven month trip with our 15 year old so sometimes to find a room that accommodates 3 -that is also tastefully done- is not easy. (In fact the Bed and Breakfast... More

Stayed the weekend at Rodondo in a harbour view room. It gave a fantastic view and was so nice to sit on the balcony overlooking the comings & goings of the fishermen and travellers that come to visit Port Albert. The town is very quiet (only a restaurant & fish & chip shop) as the pub recently burnt down but... More

Spent a nice calm romantic weekend at port Albert. We stay at rodondo. I found the price a bit expensive for the room otherwise everything else was great. Well located close to the shore. Susan runs the show and is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Would recommend it for a quiet weekend by the sea.

Port Albert is a tiny little oasis as is this B&B. Run by Susan, she's friendly, quirky, interesting, interested and she has made it into a very welcoming B&B. Clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities in the room and complimentary (paper bag of) toiletries. Optional breakfasts are a 'must' - great value and we had freshly picked apricots (stewed... More

Spent 2 nights at Rodondo with a friend, staying in main house. Both our rooms were lovely, with comfy beds, plenty of hot water and a goodie bag of toiletries. Breakfast very enjoyable. Susan is a very pleasant hostess and Port Albert a lovely place to stay for a quiet rest. Hope we pass this way again in the future.

If you are looking to stay somewhere a little off the beaten track then look no further than this charming B&B in Port Albert. You can expect your room to be spacious, clean and comfortable; the welcome from your host to be warm and friendly and the breakfast to be nothing short of stupendous. Port Albert isn't much more than... More

We stayed for a week, from Christmas Eve to New Year's Eve. Due to my late booking, my husband and I stayed in a guesthouse room while our daughter and her partner were in a cabin that had a veranda overlooking the port. This arrangement worked well because we were able to take a bath in the guesthouse room while... More

My husband and I spent New Years Eve here while traveling through southern Victoria. It was lovely, gracious and friendly and directly across the street from a great restaurant where the b&b owner had booked a dinner reservation for us. Port Albert is out of the way and very tiny but suited us to a tee. Unfortunately we had to... More
