El Toro is pretty good accommodation, in the town where Mary Mackillop created the first primary school in Victoria. I was there to celebrate a 90th birthday in the town centre. A group booked, and even though previous advertising stated 'single $10 cheaper". Not so. Oh well. The room was excellent. Large and roomy unit. Comfy bed. Everything you require,... More

This is surely the best motel in town since it is the only one but notwithstanding that it provided a good sized room with all of the mode conns you expect. The bed was comfortable and there was a desk to work at. The room has enough equipment to make a nice meal if you are that way included. Mind... More

I have stayed at the El Toro motel on several occasions and always found it clean & comfortable, I have read several commenrts regarding noise etc, my wife and I have stayed in various motels all over the world from budget to 5 star and one thing we have found they have in common is thin walls, I always pack... My girlfriend & I stayed at the El Toro last night (21/02/12) as we often stay in Numurkah and had passed this place, it looked interesting. I picked up the keys in the afternoon and was shocked by the sloppy appearance of the reception and the staff. The room appeared nice, excellent TV and facilities for a modest priced hotel.... More

I paid $100/night for family room and was disappointed. The room was large, and equipped with kettle, toaster, iron/board, large tv, and 2 beds + seating etc. It was clean, but the bathroom was small and shabby and the decor overall was dated. The lock on my door was broken, so I was concerned about security.

This motel is great for a 3star. Rooms are roomy with fridge, microwave and toaster. very clean with a large screen TV and the towels were excellent. My problem was with the hoons in the street next to the motel doing wheelies and doughnuts late at night and there happened to be a lot of young people staying and woke... More

Great location, on the main street but there was little traffic overnight. Room was big, beds comfortable, good TV reception. Decor was dated but serviceable. Hot water took forever to get to the shower. Couple of eateries nearby but they close early. Freindly management. We used this motel as a convenient stopover on a trip to New South Wales.

Great little motel on the main street but far enough out to be away from the noise. Friendly owner, even a small pool. Full review at http://www.littlewhiteswan.com/Accom/az08/0843.html
