This motel was part of our cycling tour package as an accommodation upgrade. The room was huge and very clean. We found the staff very friendly. Some good facilities including a pool and two covered BBQ. The riverside path is close by and well worth a wander. The onsite restaurant is excellent value and quality.

I found the motel staff most happy to accomodate any requests. The meal we had in the restaurent could not be faulted. Our room was lovely, bed comfy and nicely set out. Undercover car parking a bonus. There is no heating in the bathroom, which was a little cool. I would happily stay there again

We recently stayed at this motel having booked via booking.com. On arrival I was immediately put off by the rudeness of the reception staff. We ended up in a family cabin that had been superficially “glammed up” on the outside. We thought the cabin would be good as we could store our pushbikes inside. And that's where the “fun” began........... More

I have stayed at this Motel a number of times and this was the first visit with the new(ish) owners. Its been a bit sad - since its refurbishment a number of years ago it has slowly deteriorated and needs some money to bring it back to scratch. That said its not a bad place to stay - its now... The management of this hotel needs to have some hospitality training. The first night, i rang ahead and stated that we would be in around 8ish.. the response was 'that it was too late and we wont be around then, and you said you would be here at 2pm (we booked via Wotif)" ' The room was freezing, heater did... Each year we come to this motel during ski season. The owners are exceptionally accommodating for our late arrivals typically on Friday nights. If you arrive early enough you have to try the restaurant as the food is amazing. Would recommend at the very minimum as a stop off spot on the wall to Falls Creek or Mt Hotham.

Stayed for one night in cabin three. Couldn't get internet but were invited to use the main building if need be. This particular cabin was in a black spot so be advised when booking. It was clean and comfortable although on the cold side. Electric blanket on bed was necessary. We ate in the restaurant and it had a lovely... More

No welcome to be found anywhere. Reception didn't want to know about comments. No instructions or hints on how to do things in the unit Not even a welcome or advise on what was required of breakfast tray, instead a knock on the door at an embarrassing moment expecting breakfast tray with the "silence treatment" thrown in. Not good enough... More

After reading about the attitude of the owner we still booked as there were also very good reviews. We did ask prior to arriving was the restaurant open on the night of our stay but did not book a table. Upon check we were asked would we like to book a table in the restaurant which we declined, as we... More

Nicely renovated motel that has been around since at least the 70s. The double room we had was on the small side but we were able to squeeze in a travel cot for the child. The motel is a little bit pricier than you'd expect in a small town like Myrtleford and for the size of the room. The bed... More
