Large Hotel/Motel in the centre of town that is barely functioning. Stayed there last week for 2 nights, upstairs Motel area has most rooms & corridors in darkness, only myself & 1 other guest, the downstairs bars & restaurant were closed & only operate on Thu/Fri/Sat, noise from the dance floor on those nights could be a worry, rooms are... I love old buildings and these (tiny) rooms are situated in the oldest part of the motel/hotel. I was upstairs and down one of the long narrow hallways.the shared facilities were clean and not too far away from my room. The tiny room has a bed, clothes rack and small sink only. There is an upright fan for cooling and... More

This is a centrally located property within walking distance of cafes and shops. It is more a hotel, with some small bathrooms fitted into the old hotel rooms. Access is via extenal stairs and parking is on the street. TV reception is problematic. There are no screens on the doors, so airconditioning is needed for airflow. There is very little... More

Stopped in for a feed and a few beers, ended up staying the night. One of the nicer regional pubs I have been to. The publican and staff are friendly and helpful. Beer is cold and crisp. Most stop if in the area.

Best value, $95 per night and for a small room $75, The owner always happy to help and the food is great The hotel is in Myrtleford town next to coffee shops and supermarket/bottle shop. 30km from bright town and the bus stop to the snow next to the hotel.

Stayed here once the room rate was good value,as was the manager/publican, meals in the pub were tasty as well, my room was nice in the newer area down stairs, a electric blanket in winter would be a good addition as they are not fitted. My vehicle was undercover, and this is a bonus as were the shops within easy... More

The rooms with private bathroom was $90. The bedding was clean but you can feel every spring. The aircon/heater was loud and didnt warm the room and with no electric blanket it was freezing at night. The venetian blinds were bent so you can see in the room from outside. Oh and mold was everywhere on the ceiling. Had to... More

Rooms were small but clean and cheap. Had old TV, ensuite, but don’t drink the water before boiling. Beds were comfortable . Noisy til midnight , Air conditioning worked. Impossible to sleep as all rooms infested with bed bugs. Do not stay there.. Food was OK though .

Bed bugs are quite common in accomodation outlets and are also easily removed. They are passed on by travellers on their clothing and luggage and do not mark a venues hygiene. We had one room that had bed bugs. This was our first instance in the 5 and a half years of managing our venue. For all travellers, if you... More
