Sorely in need of a relaxing overnight stay at short notice, we booked into Kyneton Ridge. The setting is wonderful - distant views across the vines, with a huge rose garden in the foreground. we had the family wing and only needed one room. Unlike other properties we tried, we were able to make a weekend booking for one night... More

My first stay at this wonderful location. It was perfect! I am a very spoilt individual but had nothing I could fault, the whole experience was memorable. The room was impeccable, the breakfast yummy and the wine was delicious. Thank you Pauline and John for a lovely sojourn on our way to the Poenie Farm. The one minus was that... More

We discovered this gorgeous winery a couple of years ago and return regularly. It is in an absolutely stunning location - the perfect environment to totally unwind with a relaxed meal and a bottle of gorgeous wine. Pauline & John the owners are 5th generation wine makers and have award winning wines and make everyone feel like honoured guests. We... More

We just completed our 4th stay with John and Pauline. Room was quiet and comfortable, breakfast was outstanding and location was perfect for a country getaway! The view over the hills and grape vines is breathtaking. We always spend 2 or 3 days here after flying into Melbourne from the States. Easy access from the airport.

We had a week in Melbourne, and with a day left before flying back to Sydney we wanted to get out of town. Kyneton Ridge is perfectly situated about 40 minutes north of the airport, which is why we chose here. We loved it. The property is simply spectacular and we really enjoyed a winter walk through the gardens. The... More

Lovely setting and property. Nice room and facilities, but poor service. We always felt like we were in the way, and the food was really average. The breakfast was very basic and we tried a tasting plate at the cellar door and it just seemed to be supermarket dips and veggies..quite disappointing. The bathroom could also have been a bit... We stayed one night at this B&B at a winery a short drive from the town of Kyneton, but we wished we could have stayed longer. Friendly, helpful hosts, lovely room, pleasant scenery, quiet bedroom, nice home-cooked breakfast. The clean, well-maintained and up-to-date accommodation has all the facilities you need, but with a peaceful old-style country feel to it. Staying... More

We have 2 entrances, B&B guests should come in the front gate from Foxes Lane (the second turn off - Look for a small blue B&B sign). Unfortunately due to council regulations we must advise Cellar Door guests to enter via Hallorans Lane. Look for the large Kyneton Ridge tourist sign and drive down the sealed road to access the...
