My partner and I had the pleasure of dining here again while visiting Healesville for a wedding this weekend. It's the fourth time we've been here in around 2 years and each time we've been impressed. The food is probably the best pub food you'll get. The Syrian Chicken dish was exceptional. I've read some of the negative reviews about... More

This is the second time I've stayed here in the past 3 months. This time I stayed with my partner and we dined in the restaurant. Our waiter Nick was very attentive and friendly, our meal came very quickly (within 10mins I'd say which was a bit quick given it was an intimate dinner for two) but the food was... More

Simple, pleasant food. The prices for food were as would be expected for a pub. The menu is the same in the bar or in the restaurant but the prices are cheaper if you eat in the bar area. The pub has a nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly.

We ate at the Healesville Hotel recently on a weekend. The food was excellent as were the side dishes. I really enjoyed the locally produced olive oil that was served with the delicious bread. The wine list was extensive and the service was spot on.

We recently visited this hotel due to the great reviews for it's food. We were not disappointed, magnificent food and great service, staff was knowledgeable and not stuffy. The room we stayed in was of good size clean and tidy with the bed very comfortable. Only downside was the noise from the band and people milling around outside. If you... More

We dined here Sat 16th August all the staff were very helpful and our irish waitress was first rate. We had the Quince dining which everyone at the table enjoyed with the exception of quite underdone and chewy pork chops. The sommelier recommended a superb chardonnay that didn't break the bank.

I had a delicious steak , perfectly cooked. vegetables were also cooked perfectly .I will happily go back. The young man who served me made me feel very welcome. The outdoor eating area was a lovely setting to sit and read the paper. Very enjoyable.

Hi Tony - let me please assure you that your comments are noted. A little hard to follow exactly but we'll work through it. I will however assure you that the pork belly certainly has not been recycled for a week. Happy to discuss in person Tony if you would like to call me I'm more than happy to discuss... More

We thought we would just try our luck with accommodation when we arrived in Healesville and we got lucky at the Healesville Hotel. If you are happy to share a bathroom you will love the big cosy rooms with old pub charm. Beautifully presented with plunger coffee and comfy bed. We stayed on a Monday night and it was quiet....
