Can't understand why this place rates so highly on Trip Advisor. We have stayed at a few different places in the Grampians over a number of years, and this one was very ordinary. The surroundings are pretty and the wildlife abundant, but the same goes for most places you can stay at in the Grampians.

Stayed in a standard room. Don't look like they've changed since 1983, very worn. Makes the room, especially bathroom, feel unclean, though didn't seem to be. Staff were pleasant enough. What a beautiful setting! Surrounded by mountains and with a large open area preventing the trees from blocking the views, kangaroos swarming about, and the best food in the area. Highly recommended. Rooms are simple, motel style, don't expect anything fancy, but it's clean and neat with good car access to all rooms.
