Having just spent 30 days in OZ & spent 20 nights in different hotels. Both myself & the wife nearly didn't go to this location due to the poor reviews listed on this site. We were most pleasantly suprised upon arrival ,everything was as described. We were in one of the two tier cabins with mezzanine bedroom, the facilities were... More

We stayed for 3 days in January. We had no difficulty finding the plac e. Which is a couple of minutes drive outside Halls Gap > Like others we enjoyed the natural setting and the visits from an emu and kangaroos. But we thought like another reviewer that It all felt a little run down..It would appear from he information... More

This is a set of cabins near the Grampian mountains surrounded by forest. We saw an Emu right outside the window and were visited by a group of Kookaburras while we BBQ'd some steak. It is family run by helpful people. Unsurprisingly there is no 3G coverage and wi-fi really only works near the reception building. It's self catering so... More

Airy and spacious accommodation with added bonus of seeing the friendly kangaroo and doozy kookaburra outside the front. Very friendly owners who were very helpful. Lovely gas fire to warm the place up and adequate bbq. Dangerous step at the end of the bed caused me to trip and damage my shoulder.

we stayed 2 nights in one of the two treetop cabins. The cabin offers spacious accommodation on two floors. Kitchen, bathroom and sitting room downstairs and bedroom upstairs. All very comfortable, particularly the bed. As other vertically challenged guests have mentioned, getting in and out of the shower can be awkward. (Simon I suggest a grab handle on the left... More

The cabins were the final stop on our Great Ocean Road/Grampians trip.A bit hard to find as they are situated down a track off the main road. Also we were a little confused as to the whereabouts of reception. The owners live in one of the cabins and when we arrived there was no one around to meet us so... More

We loved these cabins. The owner wasn't there when we arrived but so what - everything we needed was. We were in the bush so didn't expect views of anything other than bush!!!! Bed was SO comfortable but do agree the end drop should be addressed. Loved the whole area and spectacular views from the mountains. Ate well in Halls... More

DULC cabins are expensively built inside and out so I didn't rate them poor. Here are my comments: Very difficult to meet the owners even though they live on the premises. A lot of glass overlooking the back but the land is best described as "scrubby". A welcome book that has two interesting comments. First, if you leave dirty dishes... More

DULC cabins were superb. Not easy to find, and no-one to meet us on arrival - but not a problem in the slightest, very clear directions given as to what to do :-). Actually enjoyed the fact that we just sorted ourselves out that evening after a tiring 3 days on the Great Ocean Road. Cabin stands alone on it's... More

After staying at some luxury places on our drive from melbourne to here we were disappointed with the cabins. We had been looking forward to staying here on the last leg of our journey. The cabins them selves were ok but there is a step that goes down at the end of the bed and we found it a bit... More

Thank you for your review on Dulc , we strive to ensure that everyone that visits us enjoy's their stay, however we do realize that sometimes as was in your case this cannot be achieved. Dulc is not promoted as luxury, the cabins are surrounded by native bushland to create the whole experience of being outdoors. Thus why you loved... More
