We recently stayed in the "Stone Cottage" during the July school holiday. These cottages are located in a serene location with beautiful views and wildlife all around. We were lucky enough to meet and talk with owner/builder Robert Webb and learned that he built all these cottages by hand using recycled materials from around Australia and New Zealand. They are... We have stayed here multiple times with our kids, ages 3 1/2 and 11 months. It is very child-friendly. We stayed in the Redgum Log Cottage. It is clean. My 3 1/2 year old loved sleeping in the bunk beds, playing in the sand pit, looking at the kangaroos, going on a hike and hearing the animals from the exotic... More

Wonderful stay in Redgum Log Cottage, loved the outlook with the mountains, bush and animal & birdlife. The log fire chased away the cold and we had every convenience we needed. Would love to return sometime to do more of the walks as we had some rain, but that was a good excuse to do some winery visits!

We stayed for 3 nights with friends in the red brick cottage. The cottages are located in a beautiful rural setting with views of the surrounding mountains. Very conveniently located just outside the main Grampians town of Halls Gap. Many hours just spent gazing at the scenery from the cottage balcony with kangaroos, sheep, birds and emus for company! Everything... More

We stayed for three nights in the Red Gum Log Cabin. We needed some time out of our travelling and touring schedule to rest, relax and recharge our batteries. This accommodation filled the bill perfectly. In the daytime, you have a lovely view of the woods and the mountains. There is an open field in front of this cabin which... More

Greg is a fantastic host; made us feel welcome. Cottages brilliantly built by his dad - we stayed in the log cottage; well appointed, rustic and comfortable without being luxurious ie full kitchen, open fire - great for self catering and relaxing evenings. Location is awesome; 10 minute drive to Halls Gap and drives / walks into the Grampians, yet... More

Thanks for the 'Fantastic' & 'Highly recommended' review Chris. Great to hear your appreciation for the cottages too. From a dream developed over many years whilst farming Robert has done a great job creating these cottages & has well earned the tourism awards for his efforts. More
