My husband and I just stayed for the second time in seven months...a week this time...and loved it! Time went too quickly. Great brekky supplied, fantastic service by staff, clean and user friendly villa (no.5), abundant wildlife, loads of firewood (replenished when needed..never had to ask!), heaps of linen and toiletries (also replenished without asking), easy checkin/checkout, wonderful grounds, peaceful... Halls Gap Victoria is a great place to visit and is part of the Grampians. These villas a first class, they are well equipped for couples both young and old. Good kitchen set up and has a spa bath and sitting area in front of an open fire (plenty of wood on hand). There are 8 separate villas spread out... More

Marwood is set up as a couples retreat, with king sized beds, a huge spa in the living area, plus double basins and showers in the large bathroom. Altogether the size of the unit is approximately that of a standard two-bedroom apartment, and high ceilings add to the sense of space. It's very nice. We had booked four nights due... More

What a great few days away from the grind.Very nice and clean good fittings except for the couch. Why have a fold out bed in a couch when it is a couples retreat? Fold out couches are never comfortable and this wasn't either. Only down part on a very nice stay. Great feature windows in the kitchen dining area looking... More

We drove up, I had not seen pictures of the block building we were to stop in. What was he architect thinking when he designed these boxes in this beautiful forest? Opened the door and was pleasantly pleased. Very clean, few issues such as dripping tap but was told there are new owners that are trying to solve these issues.... More

As we had prepaid, there was no need to check in, just drive right up to our villa, which had already had the air-con on, and relax. Lovely scenery with Kangaroos, Kookaburras and wild emus right outside our door. Romantic villa with double shower, king size bed and large 2 person spa.. Local restaurants catered for all budgets, but supermarket... More

What a great place for a relaxing break. The villa No4 was clean, well presented, everything as promised. The complex is a brief walk to shops and restaurants (8 minutes app) either by road or a lovely walking track at the rear of the cottages. Kangaroos grazing on the common lawn area along with several ducks and a couple of... More

My partner and I decided to go here for Valentines and it was more than we expected! The room is quite spacious and the spa was a dream! Not to mention the double head shower! There are heaps of utensils if you want to cook something together and the surround sound system for the tv is a hit for when... More

Marwood villas is a delight! The villas are self contained and high quality throughout. 4 on site but still very private Open plan is wonderful as spa a walk up beside the bed. I was able to watch kangaroos from the spa at dusk! King bed feels like a cloud. Continental breakfast provisions provided and bottle of bubbly a bonus.... More
