I would have loved to have given an excellent 5 stars rather than 4. Actually, I think I will. I loved this place. Just a few very small maintenance issues that should be mentioned. Great location, although at least 10 min walk to town, but it means that you have this wonderful peacefulness throughout the property. Only 6 cabins also... More

Our family of four spent 4 nights in a cabin at Halls Haven with their winter special and barely left the property it was so lovely, in favour of touring the area. Friendly hosts, cabins are immaculately clean and comfortable furnished nicely with everything you could need for a self catered stay placed with spectacular views of the grampians. Lovely,... More

This was our first stay in Halls Gap, on all our previous trips to the Grampians, we always stayed in a different location, but having stayed at Valley Lodges, wouldn't want to stay anywhere else the next time we visit. The cabin was extremely well appointed with quality fixtures and fittings, which was a nice change from previous experiences, it... More

We've just returned from Easter at Valley Lodges and although Halls Gap was full to overflowing, our cabin (which thoughtfully had everything you need for a great stay) was completely peaceful. A pleasant 3.5km stroll gets you into town for some great eating options (some awful ones too!) if you can pry yourself away from the views and wildlife at... More

Nice lodge, plenty of space and two big bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen and everything was clean. we especially enjoyed the wildlife in the mornings / evenings - kangaroos/emus/deer/birds which went down very well with our overseas visitors. The spa bath was great - enjoyed one at about 9:45pm so sorry if that interrupted the sleep of Phil (review below)...hadn't even... More

Our second time at the Lodges and the emus, cockatoos, parrots and kangaroos are still as interesting as the first time. The lady at reception was very efficient and moved us when the TV didn't work properly in our allocated room. Very comfortable accommodation and all appliances work well - everything you need in the kitchen. The only downside was... More

This was the second time staying at Halls Gap Valley Lodges after January 2011. The views from the cabins of the mountain ranges are stunning and the birds often wonder up to you to say hello. Comfy bedding, free Wi-Fi and great views culminate in a wonderful stay at the Valley Lodges. Thoroughly recommended.

Loved the setting and the accommodation was spacious and fully equipped. Would definitely stay again. Lots of wildlife around and can walk to the visitor centre. A few km out of town is maybe it's only disadvantage.

My husband and I decided last minute to take our two girls (4 and 5) for an overnight getaway. After ringing around we decided the lodges would be the most comfortable place for us all and am so glad we did :) the cabins are spacious and contain everything you need, was especially thrilled with all the cooking implements in...
