Nice lodge, plenty of space and two big bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen and everything was clean. we especially enjoyed the wildlife in the mornings / evenings - kangaroos/emus/deer/birds which went down very well with our overseas visitors. The spa bath was great - enjoyed one at about 9:45pm so sorry if that interrupted the sleep of Phil (review below)...hadn't even... More

Our second time at the Lodges and the emus, cockatoos, parrots and kangaroos are still as interesting as the first time. The lady at reception was very efficient and moved us when the TV didn't work properly in our allocated room. Very comfortable accommodation and all appliances work well - everything you need in the kitchen. The only downside was... More

This was the second time staying at Halls Gap Valley Lodges after January 2011. The views from the cabins of the mountain ranges are stunning and the birds often wonder up to you to say hello. Comfy bedding, free Wi-Fi and great views culminate in a wonderful stay at the Valley Lodges. Thoroughly recommended.

Loved the setting and the accommodation was spacious and fully equipped. Would definitely stay again. Lots of wildlife around and can walk to the visitor centre. A few km out of town is maybe it's only disadvantage.

My husband and I decided last minute to take our two girls (4 and 5) for an overnight getaway. After ringing around we decided the lodges would be the most comfortable place for us all and am so glad we did :) the cabins are spacious and contain everything you need, was especially thrilled with all the cooking implements in... After 18 days in SA our decision to take a break en route to Bendigo (home) proved a masterstroke. If you are looking for a Grampians experience and want real value for money then go online or pick up the phone and ring Jenny & Mark at Halls Gap Valley Lodges. Friendly, courteous attention (but not 'obtrusive') ...and beautiful, detached... More

My family stayed at the lodges for two nights in late May. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I cannot fault any part of the accommodation. The lodge we stayed in was exceptionally spacious, with modern, good quality fittings. The kitchen was large, clean and well equipped. The rooms were all spotless. One of the earlier reviews referred to a cheap... More

Absolutely the cheapest mattress they could buy - hard with a plastic under cover. Didn't sleep. For the $200 price tag a decent bed should be expected. Views were lovely but cabin is dated. Good for over 50s.

Hello, I think you have your stay with us confused with another stay. As you can see from previous reviews our beds are extremely comfortable posturepedic beds with 100% cotton fitted underlays. We would never expect our guests to sleep on a cheap mattress with plastic protectors. We would not refurbish the lodges with quality leather and timber furniture then... More

We had a very relaxing few days in our cabin which was large, spacious, and light. The weather was very hot, but the air conditioning and ceiling fans were effective (and quiet). We had a full-sized kitchen, large dining table, and a very pleasant outdoor sitting area. Two padded sofas in the living area were perfect for stretching out with... More

Jenny was a very friendly face at reception when we arrived. Movies, games and tourist info available at reception which was helpful as we arrived. Rooms were lovely, clean and comfy. Beds were clean and comfy too. Spa in room was big enough for two (although we didn't use it, too hot!). Kitchen had everything you need. One thing is... More
