We stayed at Grampians Getaway as part of a extended family trip (couples, families and singles) over the long weekend. The pyramids were well appointed and the grounds were lovely. We appreciated the activities on-site and the location was great. For those cold nights it was good to have options of DVDs and games to borrow. It was also a... More

The property is located about a 5 minute drive out of Halls Gap and is a beautiful bush setting. Each pyramid has three bedrooms - one with bunk beds and the other two with a double and queen bed. They are surrounded by gum trees and well spaced so that you don't see the other pyramids from the windows etc.... More

This was my family's sixth year staying at the Grampians Getaway. We come with a group of friends who stay in the other pyramids. The pyramids are pertfect as they have everyhing we need for a comfortable stay and the children thoroughly enjoy the dam/kayaks and open spaces the property offers. Highly recommended as a launch pad for the Grampians.

After looking many different websites and all the options I chose this place because it looked clean and well kept also because it was set near the dam it seemed quite nice. The deal was three nights for $400ish. For what we actually got it was well over priced! On arrive it looked ok... The garden wasn't very well kept... More

Our cabins are set in a bush setting not manicured gardens. This guest did not stay in Nov 2012 but stayed in 2011 after a long period of drought and after a lot of rain causing the water to be stained for a period. New canoes have been purchased as have new bikes, crockery, glassware and kitchen items have been... More

Whilst we enjoyed our time at the resort, the photos were a bit better than the reality. Bit tired, could do with a refresh. Otherwise, great that they allowed animals, very quiet, lots of wood for the fire, very clean.

We (family of 5) recently had our second stay at Grampians Getaway. Excellent value accommodation - plenty of room and all the facilities you need for an enjoyable stay. The pyramids are comfortable and rustic. Much better than a pokey "family room" at a standard motel and at a better price. The property is amazing, kangaroos grazing metres away, a... More

After hearing about this lovely place from a friend, we were finally able to spend some time at this oasis among the trees. The accommodation was unique, inviting and had all the comforts of home with the added bonus of wonderful views from the top balcony. We heard nothing but the peaceful sounds of nature from our cabin and enjoyed... More

No complaints at all. Stayed in No.1 pyramid and didn't hear any traffic, only the tranquil sounds of nature. We took my sister and brother in law from the UK on a 3 night break and had a fantastic time. Definately reccommend to others
