We very much enjoyed our beautiful little cottage. The views were spectacular, staff were very friendly and helpful and the cottage was homely and equipped with everything we needed for two nights (including a free bottle of wine and breakfast provisions). Thanks Gisborne Peak!

We drove all the way down from Canberra and arrived on a Friday night, it was dark, very wet and foggy. We made our way up through the vines to our cabin to find it warm, cosy and with some soft music playing. So very inviting! It wasn't until we woke the next morning and the mist had cleared that... The cottages are beautiful, very modern and cosy, the wine is the best I've ever had and comes with a delicious cheese platter. I was particularly surprised at everything available in the cottage, from all sorts of magazines and books for some quiet reading to DVD's for entertainment. The surroundings are stunning, very peaceful and relaxing, the perfect getaway for... More

This is a fabulous place to enjoy some lovely wine and great wood-fired pizzas before curling up in the most fabulous eco cottages. The staff, (besides being really knowledgable about all things grape), welcomed us like old friends and their personal touches and generous hospitality meant we had a great night. The cottages are very well designed and the thoughtful... More

Oh my goodness! So glad I stayed here on my recent weekend visit to Melbourne. After very little sleep in Brisbane Thursday night and a very long day on Friday we arrived (cold and tired) from sunny Qld well after dark at the winery. Our key was left for us (with a lovely smiley face) and our cabin was all... More

We spent the weekend at the cottages. Nice and quiet and relaxing. Well appointed kitchenette and good provisions to cook your breakfast when you are ready. We also had a pizza at the winery and it was great for a relaxing lunch.

Great place to stay. The cottages were clean and comfortable with great views of the vineyard. Plenty to do and see in the area Breakfast provisions were good but I would have liked the option of having breakfast in the restaurant. I'd like to come back and try the wood fire pizza next time.

Stayed at Gisbane Peak for 1 night whilst in the area for work. Very welcoming arrival with the accomodation warm and inviting. Comfortable, with everything I needed. Was quite secluded in a beautiful setting. Breakfast provisions more than adequate. Enjoyed driving through the vineyard to get to the accommodation. Lovely place to stay.

We stayed at Gisborne Peak for one night. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. We didnt like the idea if cooking our own breakfast the next morning though as we thought the night included a cooked breakfast cooked by the restaurant. All in all pretty good. Value for money I think is moderate. Better accommodation around for the same price.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Gisborne Peak Winery Eco-Cottages (Macedon Ranges) is a place where relaxation, luxury, sustainability and fine wine all come together. Each of the 4 eco-cottages are self-contained and sleep two people. They are nestled into the hillside overlooking the vines and the lake. Perfect for relaxing, reading, talking or just watching the grapes grow! You can always have a tasting of the estate grown wines at the cellar door and even help out in the vineyard with seasonal activities if you want. On Friday through Sundays the wood-fired oven cooks delicious pizzas, prawns and more to match with the Gisborne Peak wine range. One of the advantages of the Gisborne South location is the close proximity to Melbourne and the airport. No need to waste time getting here – spend that time instead settling in and enjoying the sights, sounds and tastes of the Macedon Ranges. What you get in the Macedon Ranges is honesty and authentic passion. What you get at Gisborne Peak Winery Eco-Cottages is all of that plus comfort, food & wine and relaxation. Why wait?
