I received tickets to the Rod Stewart concert at Hanging Rock for Christmas from my husband plus he booked a 3 night stay at the winery, so glad he did, fabulous stay, lovely people, cabins are beautiful, everything provided, had a fantastic time, we will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends.

Our first night away with a teenager at home. We wanted to be close to home yet far enough to have a sense of adventure and our one night stay at the Gisborne Peak Winery Eco-Cottages did the job. A short drive into Gisbourne for dinner and then back to a well appointed cozy cabin. Perfect!!

My husband and I came up for a an 'Eagles' weekend package. Hit the jackpot with accommodation, considering how quickly places book out when there is a concert at Hanging Rock. We could not have been happier. The cottages are gorgeous and beautifully equipped and very welcoming. Really enjoyed our delicious lunch with a lovely glass of wine before we... More

Dear Kris-TonyB We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay in our Cottages and enjoyed our hospitality and our wines which we are very proud of. It is such a shame the weather wasn't more kind for the Eagles Concert, but we are certainly glad you enjoyed your weekend at Gisborne Peak Winery and Eco Cottages. We also love our cottages... Thoughtful presentation of the cottage and the breaky provisions were a great touch in our package. Lunch the next day was good food and plenty of it. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Even got a weather forecast from Bob. Thanks!

We only stayed one night for a romantic night away from everything. Quiet restful area with all the creature comforts. Lots of supplies for a great breakfast however some more milk would have been helpful (not quiet enough for cereal, coffee, tea etc.) It was lovely arriving to gentle music playing and great to see a range of DVD's, books... Located in a scenic and quiet location. Looking over the vines from your cottage you could imagine being in Tuscany or Bordeaux yet you are only some 50kms from the CBD and a few minutes drive from Sunbury and Gisborne. Definitely the spot for some R&R and/or a romantic getaway. The cottages are bright and airy with all the creature... More

Initially I was a bit worried about finding the place (I'm not the best at navigation) Found it I did, even in the black of night. The next day I was able to drink in the beautiful location and the scenic views above the vines. The cottage itself was kitted out with everything one could require, including provisions to cook... Dear RobbiePrk, First of all, congratulations on finding us! We love our beautiful location, but it does make us a little tricky to find for first time visitors, especially in the dark! Luckily we're well sign posted from the Gisborne South freeway exit. It sounds like you really got into the spirit of our Eco-Cottages; taking the opportunity to enjoy... More

We stayed at one of the cottages during the long weekend and felt very welcome and happy with our choice of accommodation. All necessities plus some extras (such as good range of DVDs to watch, etc) were generously supplied. Place is clean, well looked after & quiete. There is no pretence and a lot of honesty. Haven't had much of a chance to explore Victoria since we moved down but very glad to have stumbled across this little piece of paradise. The eco cottage was well appointed and had an excellent view of the vineyard. An excellent little escape!

Great location and very quiet. Only a short drive to Gisborne or the surrounding Macedon ranges. Keys were left for us due to a late check in but nothing was too much effort. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway.
