We had a really fantastic time. Autumnal vineyard set in a picturesque valley. Our cottage warm and cosy with all facilities. A lovely food platter and bottle of wine on arrival with the cottage heated and inviting. Our balcony overlooked a small lake with ducks and beautiful native gardens . We were close to the major tourist attractions but I... More

We held our post wedding recovery day in the marquee. What a fantastic and perfect location to wind down after our wedding. The wine was great and the pizza and tasting platters were fantastic. We stayed for 2 nights in Peppermint Gum cottage, and some of our family took the other cottages. They are very modern and comfortable and we... More

We had a lovely midweek getaway 2 night getaway here, and we really enjoyed the extra touches - the free bottle of wine for a 2 night stay (we had the red - delicious), the heating waiting for us when we got in on a cold afternoon, the music playing, the nice selection of DVDs (we brought our own as... We arrived on a cold winter in autumn kind of day. To their credit the staff had turned on the heater and the cottage was toasty warm. The Eco cottages are very well designed and beautifully appointed with generous breakfast provisions. However I wished someone had checked the gas bottles!!! 2 hours in and the heater stopped working. Not to... More

My gosh. After a three week holiday with our kids and their kids, we needed a holiday for ourselves to simply rest and decompress before returning to work. This was the ultimate escape less than an hour from the CBD. Serene, peaceful, welcoming, great wine, good food, and then the cottage (a bit of a love nest) set atop the... More

My wife and I really enjoyed our short stay at the cottages just prior to Good Friday. It's a great little place, really private and luxurious. Far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close enough to not have to make it a really long road trip. We came in to music playing on the CD player... More

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to write such a glowing review. We really appreciate it. Sometimes it's the little things that make the difference, like music playing and the lights on that make us remember a place. Thanks for noticing! The views from any of the cottages are great, but especially from the top two. It can... More

Hello Delray, We are so pleased that your stay, AND the concert, was everything that you wanted it to be. We trust you explored the region of the 3-day stay, as the eco-cottages are a great place to base yourself to explore the Macedon Ranges. Please do tell your friends about us and we hope to see you another time. More

Our first night away with a teenager at home. We wanted to be close to home yet far enough to have a sense of adventure and our one night stay at the Gisborne Peak Winery Eco-Cottages did the job. A short drive into Gisbourne for dinner and then back to a well appointed cozy cabin. Perfect!!

My husband and I came up for a an 'Eagles' weekend package. Hit the jackpot with accommodation, considering how quickly places book out when there is a concert at Hanging Rock. We could not have been happier. The cottages are gorgeous and beautifully equipped and very welcoming. Really enjoyed our delicious lunch with a lovely glass of wine before we... More

Dear Kris-TonyB We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay in our Cottages and enjoyed our hospitality and our wines which we are very proud of. It is such a shame the weather wasn't more kind for the Eagles Concert, but we are certainly glad you enjoyed your weekend at Gisborne Peak Winery and Eco Cottages. We also love our cottages... Thoughtful presentation of the cottage and the breaky provisions were a great touch in our package. Lunch the next day was good food and plenty of it. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Even got a weather forecast from Bob. Thanks!
