I booked our holiday based on Trip Advisor reviews and it is for that reason that I feel I need to write this review honestly. This place was, in a word, disappointing. On booking, we were promised so many things for the children, none if which we found or were offered once we arrived. Firstly - the fire was either... More

Hi Daina and I'm disappointed that you didn't voice any concerns or ask for assistance while you were staying here from either Anne or myself ---we are always keen to ensure our guests enjoy their time with us and do whatever we can to rectify any problems. The kids amenities are freely available ( and used by ) all the... More

We had two queen suites next to each other. One room had a queen & the other 2 singles for the kids. Both rooms were neat & tidy & looked to be recently remodeled, had a fridge & tea/coffee making facilities. The only negative was there was no floor heating so the rooms were cold at times. We were supplied with... More

3rd year here and always great! Friendly warm ski lodge. Fantastic food and great wine selection. Relexing by the fire or in a spa after day of skiing is best. Common area is well stocked with DVD's games and books so family won't be bored on bad weather days.

I found Keith and Anne (owner operators) to be extremely helpful and accommodating from our first contact. Nothing was too much trouble and both were very flexible with accommodating and caring for our party of 11. We all felt very welcome and at home from the beginning of our stay until leaving 8 days later. The Mezzanine suites were very... More

Some days in life can be perfect...But for that you need to be in the perfect time - AT the perfect place - so was our Summit Ridge experience. With the underlying luxury of everything being thought of in advance, service and hospitality would definitely rate five star but a delicate, easy and efficient guest care from Anne and Keith... We stayed at Summit Ridge last winter and found the standard of accommodation and restaurant equal if not better than our experiences in France, Austria, Canada, and USA. We found this surprising considering the relative size of Falls Creek. We recently returned for a weekend in the off-season, during the Melbourne food and wine festival, and although the Lodge was... I stayed at Alpine Summit recently (7 March - 10 March 2014), not for the ski season but for the 3 peaks cycle challenge. Simply a great place to stay. Opening only for the week for the cycle event, the quality of food was amazing. The owners and staff were also amazing and well suited to their occupation. Keith, if... More

A group of us recently attended the 3 Peaks Cycling event at Falls Creek. We had the pleasure of staying at Summitt Ridge. There was approx 15 to 20 of us. All with cycling gear and many requests. The team at Summitt Ridge were very accommodating with our requests [cyclists can be demanding]. We had chosen to have all meals... More

We stayed for 8 days in September and although the season was winding down the fresh snow kept us out! Continental breakfast at this time of year which is the case with most places. It was oh so nice to know the restaurant was catering for full dinner every night - the food was excellent as is the wine list!... More

I took the kids away for a 3 day ski break at the start of he holidays (Sat 14 -Tue 17 Sep 2013). It was late in the season but still plenty of snow up top for 3 solid days of skiing. We stayed in a mezzanine room, the kids slept upstairs and I was on the sofa bed downstairs.... More
